They are very kind, a good immigration lawyer has already helped two of my family members and there were results. I recommend him. He doesn't speak Spanish but he has a translator.

In light of the fact that our family did not officially hire this law firm after the original consultation I retract my previous review.

So far, experiences with Matt Carruthers have been great, but we are in very initial stages. He is easy going, accessible and relatable .

So far I am not impressed at all I would seek someone with more integrity that doesnt take on such a large case load..... he took 3200 and never did a thing If you have a DSS case PLEASE stay away He appears to only care about immigration they told us one cost then it changed He said he had never lost a DSS case I do believe he lied. Everyone we have spoken to seems to know nothing STAY AWAY note the names that gave a good review. All immigration. He has a greenville county government phone number. Dss cases stay away. Divorce. Their better attys. If you are not an immigration case he nor his staff cares. And good luck understanding them. They are rude and can barley speak English. Rip off there is no way to put 0 stars. He was heard outside the bathroom making deals not in my best interest. He should be disbarred!!!! TOOK 3200 DOLLARS AND DID NOTHING

He showed that he really cared and was concerned for my family in my DSS case. He stood up for me like a great lawyer should.

Granted this was many years ago and maybe Mr. Carruthers was young and inexperienced. Still... he caused me to almost lose my chances at ever immigrating to this country again. Got a denial in the mail and never notified me. Never refunded the money or apologized. Almost cost me a deportation. Total fail.
