Phoenix is probably the most dangerous city for bicycles. I'm a former triathlete (USTA) and rode in the lower 48 states. I was doing a 100-mile ride on my birthday—a large vehicle at the 80-mile mark hit me. The other party waved a $100 at me. My handlebars cost $100. I felt undervalued. I pay taxes. I follow the laws. There's no reason to accept this behavior from drivers. I'm an all-year cyclist; I don't use a car for anything. I found Mr. Ciulla after a lengthy internet search. I just wanted the law to work for once. I'm glad he was able to make things fairer. He was very professional toward me and my injuries. He was informative throughout the process. If I didn't understand something, he broke it down further. I liked that, and I felt like I could trust his knowledgeable opinion over the other party and their insurance. He makes things fair.

Mr. Jay was a God send for me. I was in an accident in 2017 for the first time and was a little panicked. It wasn’t my fault but the insurance company of the person who hit me tried to tell me that they were not going to pay my hospital bills. I couldn’t afford the hospital costs and was so scared that I would end up bankrupt or in debt because of an accident that I was not at fault for. No lawyer would take my case because the monetary value was too small. I didn’t know what to do and was scared. I got a letter in the mail and was a little confused when Mr. Jay discussed that he could help me. I reached out with a phone call and was so surprised at how friendly and helpful he was. He agreed to meet with me on Saturday and told me he would take my case. I was so happy! Within a few months I saw miracles happen. I wasn’t being harassed anymore by medical bills and he supported every step in how to dispute the bills. I don’t know much about law and I didn’t know how to handle this, but he supported me every step until the case was settled.
