I came to the Coppola Firm during one of the most difficult times in my professional career, when a past employer tried to enforce a Noncompete Agreement through legal intimidation. Lisa Coppola and her team always go the extra mile for their clients. They are innovative, responsive and empathetic. From business agreements to labor and employment issues, this team is phenomenal. I’ve referred them to clients, friends and family who have all raved about their experience.

One thing they are exceptional at is billing. When you get the hourly rate, you WILL cringe... definitely a barrier to having an adequate lawyer/client relationship, knowing the second you initiate a dialogue you are paying $500/hour! I never met them in-person, I couldnt afford that intimate of a relationship. Our entire relationship was by email. I had them do one document for me, that they did not do completely correctly, and when I brought it to their attention, I was told they would create a new billing agreement. When I told them I took exception, I promptly received a letter informing me I was being fired as a client - which was really fine. It is just annoying I now have to pay a new law firm to do what they did not do right, the first time. What is really funny to me is that when they sent me the final discharge letter, it was a copy of their MS Word letter, which speaks to attention to detail. Areas flagged for deletion: that they would work with me in the future, and that I should rate them... which honestly I would not have thought of rating them publicly, until I saw that they did not want me to.
