Mr Crisler was 1hr 45 min late to our appt, he then was asking me... you have depression and anxiety? How does that work? He asked me about how I got his name and then how I knew the referral and even went as far to ask how the referral knew my family member. Tell me what does that have to do with my case? I felt very judged and he made me feel as if I was a waste of his time. A week later he sent me a letter of refusal to take my case. It is his prerogative to choose his cases but he doesnt have to treat people the way I was treated. Double thumbs down on this man. Rude, judgemental, and after I sat for 1hr and a half waiting for him to show up to our appt and didnt even acknowledge he was late.

Response from owner

Ms. Smith was never my client. I offered her a free consultation for her Appeal on a Social Security Disability claim she made for her mental illnesses of depression and anxiety which she stated didn’t allow her to be employed. Lawyers unfortunately are at the behest of judges as I was that day and was stuck in court when she came to our office which occasionally occurs. My paralegal met with her after an apology and a short delay and I joined later explaining I was stuck in court (which she already knew and for which I usually apologize). I asked her necessary questions of how her conditions effected her ability to work which are legally pertinent and have to be detailed in cases. Nothing inappropriate as she seems to infer. She also stated she was referred by an old friend of mine I hadn’t talked to recently - so I asked. She didn't know my friend but he apparently knew her sister, so it was just simple conversation and nothing more. I guess questions can be misconstrued but perhaps she just wasn’t happy we ultimately did not take her case but we wished her the best of luck and were polite.
