Called and had an initial meeting with paralegal about divorce... was told I had to put a deposit when I came to speak to lawyer which was fine when it was time to meet lawyer and he was not at office NO ONE WAS IT WAS CLOSED. Tried to call and reschedule and got no response and never a call back!!! Terrible if this is how business is done I’m happy you didn’t show up !! So unprofessional!

Michael Culkin Father of 4 ~My experience with Michael Culkin. He is the best lawyer I’ve ever encountered! Many years ago, my wife used him to file a bankruptcy that actually went quite smoothly. Then I needed a lawyer for two separate child custody cases (both at the same time), so I decided to give him a try. My findings: Michael is extremely passionate about his profession and does not discriminate in any form (i.e., race, religion, socio-economic background, etc...) he’s a lawyer for all people. He is patient, intelligent ,and is also willing to work with you. He always validates your opinion, then steers you in the right direction. He knows law extremely well and always looks at it from many angles. He is also reasonable in price and does not haggle you for every “red cent”, especially for every minute talking to him like most lawyers do! He has compassion for honest-hearted people. Before calling or texting him information related to our case, I always tried to have my thoughts together to save us both time. Truly, if I was wrong in someway with my thought process he would let me know and I appreciated this at the end of the day. He was always focused on what served the best interest of the children and getting all the facts. Not to mention, you can reach him at the office, by email, text message or by phone. Great lawyers like him are always busy, but he will always get back to you in a timely manner. So it is nice that he provides many avenues to communicate with him. At times, I’ve provided him with evidence to better my case and after he reviews it he always got back to me through one of these communication methods. If he couldn’t use what I provided, he always reviewed it with me to help me understand the ins and outs according to the law. He will always tell you the honest truth if something is good or bad to help your case. When I like to think of what a lawyer should be, it should be a person who upholds justice and believes in it and Michael does just that! He fights for what is right! I have had two separate court cases involving custody. Today, all four of my children live with me for the right reasons. Justice was accomplished by Michael putting up a fight. At times, there are many flaws with in the court system and Michael is extremely good at looking at things from all angles to accomplish justice. Especially when it comes to children, he has their best interest in mind, because they are innocent and their safety and health is what’s most important. My Children have even referred to Michael as a “super hero without a cape”. They are extremely happy and grateful with the outcome of their lives. I hired Mike to deal with a custody case for my pre teen daughter. The cards were stacked against me as I’m a father in a woman state.
