This firm would charge you to sharpen their pencils if they could. I can understand why so many bad reviews end with spending double digits and no resolution. Emails one sentence long are charged at a high unaffordable rate to those struggling during these difficult times. In my short time with this firm, I realized the lack of experience they claim to have with fed comp due to the fact that my attorney needed to do research for something they do on a daily basis or just another tactic to add on to the invoice in my opinion. No transparency with how much they charge for reading your emails. When I complained about the invoices and asked for details. Left a message and sent email to lady in charge of billing, didn't hear back from her until she received the email letting their firm know I removed them from my case. An entire retainer billed on two phone calls and probably 8 or so emails. Zero resolution or help and me doing all the leg work on multiple tasks. I could only imagine had I not done those tasks myself. Research this firm. Check reviews and complaints. Lots of bad reviews and unsatisfied clients. Many fed comp firms out in Texas and Kentucky who can help you for far better rates. Some even read and respond to your emails for free or a small flat rate. This firm, is all about the money not you. Such a shameful and horrible practice. Hope they get investigated, charged accordingly and are forced to reimburse all the clients they scammed out of hard earned monies. STAY AWAY, don't believe me? Try them and come back to review and leave a heart when they also do it to you. Update. Tried to do mediation with Texas bar and firm declined. My so called attorney also had the nerve to say this during the exchange "Javier had previously attempted to file a fraudulent fee dispute with his financial institution (i.e. credit card) where he was trying to get a credit card refund AFTER he had received our law firm's services and work was completed. His own credit card company disagreed with his claims as they allowed our law firm to retain the funds for our services. The work and time spent on case is well documented, and as a matter of fact, he has acknowledged the said work. This being the case, it is our understanding that this arbitration is strictly voluntary on the part of the parties, and since we see no basis for this frivolous complaint, we do not wish to participate in this arbitration. If our assumption about this being voluntary is not correct, then please let me know." The only reason my credit card company declined to refund me is because of The Devadoss law firm contract language as they explained to me in detail. IMPOSSIBLE to get a refund unless contract states it. Incredible that this firm would actually try and call a dispute with my credit card company "fraudulent" when I was disputing their horrible services and overcharging. No work was completed and I REMOVED THEM FROM MY CASE because I saw exactly what they were doing. In the English language it's called ROBBERY!. There's a special place in hell waiting for all of them.
Facing an EEOC case against the federal government was one of the most stressful experiences of my professional life. My situation began when I was demoted from my position, and the circumstances surrounding it placed me in an extremely difficult and uncertain position. At the time, the process felt overwhelming, and I knew I needed someone who not only understood the law but also understood how challenging this journey could be emotionally. From the very beginning, Austin T. provided exactly that. He approached my case with professionalism, knowledge, and a level of compassion that immediately put me at ease. He took the time to walk me through the EEOC process step by step, explaining what to expect and making sure I fully understood my options. His ability to simplify a complex legal process helped me feel more confident and less alone during a time when I truly needed support. I would also like to recognize Linda, who played an important role throughout the process. Together, Austin and Linda created an environment that was both professional and supportive. They treated my concerns with respect and patience, which made a significant difference in how I experienced the entire process. What stood out most about Austin was his ability to combine strong legal expertise with genuine care for his clients. Rather than feeling like just another case, I felt heard, respected, and supported every step of the way. What initially felt like an intimidating legal battle became a process that I could move through with confidence because I knew I had the right people advocating for me. I am sincerely grateful for Austin’s guidance and dedication. If you are navigating an EEOC case or facing a difficult employment situation, I highly recommend Austin T. Having an attorney who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and compassionate can make all the difference, and Austin truly embodies those qualities. ---- Juanita
I worked with Tyler and Stacie and they helped me get a great result. I recommend this law firm.
0 stars This lawyer was the worst mistake I have ever made. I STILL Don't know why after 3 years during talks about a settlement, my case was dismissed. Morgan will not tell me what happened Only that I am wrong about what think happened, and what I was told by the senior and junior lawyer. We paid for an appeal and I think it was a extremely poor representation of what went on in my case and a weak argument. They stopped talking to me after they didn't turn in paperwork and my case was dismissed by the agency. My work filled the case with false statements and speculations that were unchallenged and are now part of my record at the agency which stops me from getting any type of work and the lawyers I paid were on the side of my agency and definitely not in my corner. They stopped representating me half way through and left me high and dry. I should have listened to the reviews I was reading this law firm does not care about you and how this affects your entire life. I would like to know what happened after paying my fees and now I am just here I lost my job, car, and myself Pick a good lawyer ! It's your life
Devadoss Law Firm helped me tremendously navigate thru the process of submitting my MSPB appeal. Highly recommend Mr Cleveland McRae and Mrs Madison Reed. They did an outstanding job of articulating my defense with the facts and the law. They never missed a scheduled phone call. Very Professional Team!
My experience was poor, my attorneys weren't prepared. They spent more time kowtowing to the judge that actually providing the facts of my case. There were parts of my case and witnesses that were left out that would definitely given more weight and legal ammo to me having a positive out come. The representation was not only unfamiliar with the investigative file the even brought any of the affidavits that would strongly supported my case. I felt not just underrepresented it almost seemed to me that they were findings way to work in concert with the very entity that caused me legal harm. I feel swindled and disappointed that I trusted what I had hoped would be a law firm concerned with the law an fair representation. Now, I have spent money that didn't have to spend only to be set back further financially and legally that ai had been before. Thanks for absolutely nothing Devadoss Law.
Great people doing amazing work. My family and I are grateful for all the help they provided.
Claire Cooke and this Law Firm does exactly what they say they will do; defend you as a federal employee and they are reachable to talk with. I can't say enough how well I have been treated. Dr. Masaitis
Kelly Dowd is outstanding, great lawyer and a good person!!!!
I can not say enough about my experience with Devadoss Law firm. In summary I was given a letter of proposal to remove me from my position (fired), I presented my case to Devadoss and thet immediately explained to me my options and how they could assist in getting this resolved without a removal. They answered the proposal letter with exact accuracy in response to there findings and reasonings for removal and how this would not meet nor comply for removal. they generally take 15 days or more to answer my appeal but in my case the letter was so good they came back 2 days later and removed the proposal letter l, I am still employed to this day with no further negative impact because if this wonderful Law Firm. BTW, they were much more price friendly by far then any other Law firm I had contacted. Definitely would recommend
Your thoughtful feedback means the world to us!
Very good communication and attention to detail. You truly feel like your legal team is there for you, understands your concerns, and includes you in every decision.
From the very beginning, working with the Devadoss Law Firm has been a professional and reassuring experience. My attorney, Madison Reed, has been an absolute Rockstar. She has a gift for keeping me calm through a very stressful process, always making sure I felt informed and supported, even when I knew her schedule was full. What stood out most was how consistently responsive and professional the entire firm has been. Every call and message was acknowledged, and I was always kept in the loop with updates. I never felt left in the dark--instead, I felt my case was a true priority. Madison's combination of legal skill, attention to detail, in compassion made a huge difference. She doesn't just handle the legal side --she provides real peace of mind. The law firm as a whole reflects the same professionalism, and I could always count on them to follow through. I'm grateful to have had such strong and steady representation, and I would highly recommend Madison Reed and the Devadoss law firm to any federal employee navigating workplace challenges.
I spent my 20 year career protecting others and seeking justice for Americans. When my agency decided I was the problem I found myself in one of the hardest battles of my life, and it felt like there was no one there to help me. Then seemingly by chance, I found Devadoss and they truly stood up for me. My attorneys Madison and Octavia were kind, understanding, hard working, and put together an amazing case for me. I can't say enough good things about them and the firm.
They were knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way. When I had questions or concerns, they always spent the time I needed to ensure I was well informed. I am very grateful for the support I received and would absolutely recommend them to others.
If I had to do all over again I would go a different direction with representation. Although my case was filed with DEI. After the judge made her decision my Attorney Shane Robinson didn’t bother to call me . I was calling him. There was no empathy for me. You can appeal and there was no other communication thereafter, but I guess that’s why the attorney/firm was and still gets paid and is still being paid. And they do not mind sending payment notifications to let me know I still have a remaining balance due. I’m left with nothing but embarrassment and humiliation. Of course with everything else in the back of my mind I feel and fear retaliation. Do your research before making a life altering decision believe me it will make a difference . The Devadoss Law Firm is not it.
Called to do an intake as I’m an injured federal employee and no one answered so I left a voicemail. That call was returned by Eden, however when I called back and asked to speak with Eden regarding an intake , another young lady took my info and dismissively said ok you’ll get an email fill it out and send it back. That was a week ago, and since no return phone call and no email. Called today and Miranda was too busy to take my call , so I left the same info again, in hopes of a return call. Not sure if this is how they retain clients but I’m sure it’s not how they make new ones.
I am very satisfied with how my claim is being handled
It is wonderful to hear you are satisfied with the process. We appreciate your trust in us!
Devadoss has been an incredibly wonderful agency to work with. They were kind, professional, and so incredibly intelligent. I was able to work with Chris F. And Stacie S. Who were both empathetic to my emotions of what I was facing, but were also able to help me structure them in a way that could tell my story in a constructive way. I would recommend this team to anyone who needs legal advice regarding EEOC concerns.
We are thrilled to hear you felt heard and guided through the process. Your recommendation means so much to us!
Thank you!
