We cannot Thank the DeVires Law firm (Attorney Shawn A. DeVries) enough for representing us in our legal matter. Rubby Chitsatse our paralegal kept us up to date on our case and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Thank you so much for a job well done.

I did not get to use them but the receptionist gave me some helpful information that steered me in the right direction. Just from this act of kindness it gave me a sense of security with the company.

The most incompetent group of attorneys and paralegals in the business. Very unprofessional and neglectful of their cases. Only concern about their money. No one will answer or return calls or emails. Attorney goes more than a month without contact regardless of us trying to reach him. Won’t answer questions or do things that we ask. Takes months to get a simple filing complete. Do not trust them with your case!

I contacted local DeVries for legal assistance in Jacksonville, FL for a free consultation, but I got calls from area code 561 (Palm Beach, FL) and area code 812 (the southern third of the U.S. state of Indiana). Why can’t I get a call from local area instead of so far away? I’m not comfortable talking to someone not in local area. Feels shady hiding behind a phone call not in local area.

I have yet to receive the QDRO ! It have been over 1 yr. They give you the run around. Do not hire them to do your QDRO !

Really love working with Shawn and Angie, it was just the other three in the middle of the sandwich that was problematic. Would love to seen Rhonda and I just worked with one person from start to finish. Also found the Ai very cumbersome and would have loved to have had someone that I could have just emailed the information to. Now don't take this as a bad review because it's not! I suggest anyone that is going through a rough financial time to contact Shawn. The things mentioned above was just my opinion on things running a little smoother . Joshua Tyson serves under Mr Devries when he took on my disabled sons case we got no where all the money was used without us even knowing it. Nothing was done but emails back and forth along with phone calls which got us no where . They will take your money Mr Tyson is never in the office. I have asked him many times to please take his name off the court documents which he has to do on his end but his name is still on every document that the current lawyer that we had to get because nothing was being done on Mr Tyson end. He works for the Devries law firm so this is what you are up against beware. Please Mr Devrires I have called your office many times my calls get screened no one responds I would like Mr Tyson to stop getting court documents he is no longer an attorney for my disabled son. I have tried many many times to get a hold of you regarding this matter. Please help there is no reason why he should still be involved. He has told me it has been taken care of. He’s handling just like he handled my sons case!

I want to say thank you to Monica, Bona, and Shawn. I really appreciate this whole team. I made up my mind to file bankruptcy Dec of 2024. Filed in May and discharged end of July. I had the pleasure of talking to Monica who made me feel so at ease. She didn't make me feel bad about the decision I was making. Bona is who I communicated with the most. Omg did he make this process easy. Every question I had he answered back quickly. I never got to actually speak with Shawn but he represented me and I am so freaking thankful!!! Seriously! It started out a little rough when I initially spoke with Ignatius, however, most of my dealings and subsequent execution of my will, healthcare surrogacy, and living will were all performed exemplary by JULIENNE! She was positively awesome and I would give 4 1/2 stars overall for Julieen’s hard work.. Had it not started out so difficult I would’ve given them five.The receptionist Emily was absolutely wonderful. She made me feel very welcome upon my arrival, offered me something to drink, as it was extremely hot out, asked if I was comfortable and told me she would escort me in a few moments to the conference room. Upon arriving in the conference room, she offered me fresh baked cookies and something to drink. She said to go ahead and help myself and make Comfortable. The rest of the time flew by quite quickly reviewing and initialing the paperwork. Pretty painless, but very thorough. I would not hesitate to refer this agency to family and friends for any type of legal work that they need accomplished. And quite frankly, Their pricing is very fair!
