Poor experience with Josh. Similar to the poor experiences listed before me. How is he still employed by this firm? Would not recommend.
Incompetent (almost missed an EEOC deadline, failed to add ADEA, didn’t encourage rebuttal…) You’ll pay double because he and his wife tag team.
Josh Erlich agreed to take my case and then rescinded his offer due to his misunderstanding of the case I thoroughly explained to him and his team. After waiting a weekend to hear back from him about whether or not he'd take on my case as originally agreed, he sent me an email to rescind his offer instead of calling me. I'm already deeply hurt after experiencing workplace discrimination that cost me my job. I finally felt hopeful after initially talking to Erlich. Being told that he was going to take my case was the best Christmas gift I could ever dream of, until he took it back. Josh Erlich, you broke my heart and further broke my trust in people and justice.
Joshua and the team were professional, responsive, and genuinely compassionate. I reached out regarding an employment matter involving disability-related concerns, and they took the time to listen carefully, ask the right questions, and explain options in a way that was easy to understand. I appreciated how respectfully I was treated throughout the process and am grateful for their support. My advice to others is to try to detach from the emotional aspect and stick to the facts. The communication was insightful, reflecting a high standard, which I appreciate, and it has helped me to better understand and develop my own communication skills.
This is my pre review as a client of Mr.Erlich and I think the issue with the negative reviews is not understanding that law is not about EMOTIONS it’s about FACTS/What you can prove. I asked Mr.Erlich to play devils advocate with me when I explained my case…why? Because it helps with covering any holes or issues you may run into in the future. If you’re looking for a attorney to tend to your feelings and emotions and promise you the world with no facts then you should ask your mom or significant other to represent you and I mean no disrespect by that. I want a strong attorney who will put me through Hell and promise me nothing and after all that surprise me with a WIN!! or unexpected results (IN A GREAT WAY) Mr.Tai
I would like to thank the whole team for helping me out in my situation. I hope nobody has to deal what I went through a true nightmare. But thanks to this law firm I see some light as it's coming to an end. As far as the negative remarks I see I 100% disagree.
Josh was knowledgeable, patient, and wise. He also demonstrated strategic care with a set budget and got the job done.
These negative reviews are resonating with me and I wish I would have come to read them PRIOR to engaging this firm. I have an extremely well documented case, sent all the relevant materials over, did not hear back from them in over 2 weeks, then Josh was late for the call and through his actions showed he had not even reviewed the details or facts of my case. Unfortunately, that is time I will never get back.
Will be straight with you if they can’t take you on (whether due to the details or their existing caseload). Was able to direct me to another firm that could help. I felt heard, and was able to get help.
Demoralizing experience. Provided Josh with evidence of retaliation that other lawyers say is a strong case and he says he doesn't see a case here, even when there are other people from my background having similar experiences. It just makes you question your right to fight discrimination and mistreatment and you waste 500 bucks. Attitude of the lawyer saws alot, but during consultation, this attorney Josh just makes you feel guilty for fighting your rights and second guessing. Even if he took on my case, the energy I got was not positive.
I called to speak to a lawyer regarding a case and the reason why they claim they specialize in. Then I get an email back 3 days later saying they can’t help me. What a waste of time and resources.
Michael - We appreciate you reaching out to us. We receive more than 25 calls per day and, regrettably, we do not have time for every case. I wish you the best of luck in finding counsel but I am sure you will find that many of the firms you contact are extremely busy in the same way we are.
Joshua made time to speak with me and learn about my situation. He was was also confident/professional enough to suggest a different lawyer to meet my specialized need.
If you want to pay 500 bucks for a phone call, this is your place. Because that’s about all you are going to get with these folks. Editing and updating my review. Originally spoke with Josh Erlich, told him my situation. He charged me 500 dollars to talk to him on the phone for about 30 minutes. He told me he would write a letter and fight for me. Then it changed the following days later. He would ignore emails and eventually said nothing can be done. That’s when I wrote my original review. Updating it now to let everyone know I contacted PJI law in northern Va and they got the deal done. They contacted my former employer, wrote the letter, had a couple of conversations and the non compete was taken care of for me. See? If you actually attempt to help people and do your job things will work out. At minimum, you have to at least try. And Erlich didn’t even do that. Call PJI if you are having non compete issues and don’t waste your time here.
J,

I would be happy to speak to you and you know that I have already reached out on several occasions.

Feel free to reach out whenever,
Josh
Great staff
Josh was very forth coming with his thoughts on my case. Answered all my questions that I had. Would gladly use him again if I had too.
Before hiring Joshua Erlich, I consulted with several attorneys. Joshua and Davia Craumer took the time to listen to every detail and were always upfront about my case. I can't thank them enough! They fought tirelessly for me and won! Despite his busy schedule, Joshua always made time to answer my toughest questions. He is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything thoroughly. I'm deeply grateful for all the Erlich Law Office has done for me, and I wholeheartedly recommend them!
Horrible Office Mr Erlich didn't even bother to read the material I provided during consultation and blatantly accused me of seeking money yet I this was a terrible and unwanted journey for me. I went to the consultation in person. He was so full of assumptions as if he was paid not to take my case. They could have told me before charging me a chunk of money that they did not want to take my case.
I just want to know if there is anyone to attend to my request? I have called many times and sent emails but I have not had any response. I want to know if they handle cases of discrimination.
Jorge - We'd be happy to talk to you but we haven't found anyone by your name in our call notes. Please call us at 703-791-9087 and ask for Louise Thorne.
