I would absolutely trust this law firm

How is this law firm still in business? Please save yourself the headache and find someone else to represent you. I feel like I got legally robbed. 3 grand down the drain.

Hate to even give them 1 star. (Had to give at least one to post on here) Paid for a bankruptcy THREE years ago. Lane still hasn't filed it. Our last meeting 6 weeks ago I was told he would get it filed today. Never heard another word from office. Noticed I was still getting calls from bill collecting. Called the office. No response. Took another 2 weeks to be told he didn't file it. Wish I would have picked a competent lawyer. Tomorrow I cash yet another check (with a 25% gross income removed). Even if you are in jail do not call their office. (Liable to make case worse). Sum it up... paid $2000 (3 years ago) and today I am $2000 in the hole and losing 25% of my gross income every check. Avoid! Don't believe me? Look at their rating. Good at cashing your retainer. Terrible on the lawyer side.

Spoke with one of the lawyers says they are willing to take on my case and then never called me back and I have called several times to get in touch. I keep being told someone will contact me for further information it’s been over a month.

Had been in communication w Lane from 11/24/24, then decides on 1/3/25 to quit on me three days before my pretrial.

I thought Lane would be the lawyer for me. He promised me he was taking my case on contingency. After I sent him all of my medical records, he stopped returning my calls and emails. What a waste of time. I could've used that time to search for a different lawyer. Very unprofessional Do not recommend

Straight trash. Someone real close to me hired them and they found out fitzgerald didnt file court documents when they were supposed to and the case was dismissed. But what do you expect from a group of ppl like this in Beloit. Their picture doesn’t even say “I know what I’m doing”. I wish the person close to me had looked them up 1st on google before hiring them.

My ex wife had lane Fitzgerald for divorce im glad she did because he absolutely sucks at his job she didnt get nothing she wanted probably because he didnt do his job or research on anything he only cared but one thing in the case which wasnt relevant to the divorce. Hes arrogant and has no business being a lawyer. He wasnt even at her final hearing lol most likely he only out for him self and the money.

Round of applause for the this law firm, very unprofessional, and refusing court orders to provide information on a case. Attorney Lane is Very smug, snobby, not helpful, doesn't return calls, his little assistant who answers the phone is just as bad and has hung up the phone, doesnt let anyone else speak, just talks over you. Now have set an appointment two different times to be pushed back less than an hour before the appointment day of, for something that can simply be printed in office (in less than 2 minutes) knowing that this needs to be done timely and having it court ordered to be done. This law firm likes to waste people's time and money. Both of which are equally valuable. I don't give negative reviews often, but when I do, they are deserved and details are provided. The reviews truly show for this law firm and it's sad.

No response in months and judge closed my case. Took my money and did not get any result or help from the attorney

Absolutely horrible. I already knew I had a bad lawyer and that's why I had hired a new one. I still owed money to the lawyer from this firm and when I called to get a balance and finally got through to someone after almost a month of trying, the person wasn't even in the office and was extremely short with me. Even after saying thank you for your time all I got in response was, uh huh and then they hung up. If I could give less than one star, I would.

What an amazing experience I had at The Fitzgerald Law Firm! Had a long going custody battle in Rock County WI that seemed never to end so I fired Sterling Law Office that was a big mistake and actually set me back and then hired The Fitzgerald law firm and rapped everything up pretty quick and came out with a BIG WIN! To top that off he heard my child support case today in Boone county IL with very little notice and again came out with a win! Could not be more happy with there service and professionalism! If you want good things to happen call this firm!!

This was the worst experience of my life. My attorney never really showed up. He sent his partner and not one time did he talk to me or ask questions beforehand, even though I called several times. Not only that, he was rude with me. I know for a fact he only wanted the money. Please, please go somewhere else!

Communication is HORRIBLE. Even the judge in Janesville Court had to threaten to fine the lawyer because they wouldn't do there job and arrived at court without papers asked for several times. Judge refused to keep continuing due to lawyer. I has proof I sent the papers day after 1st court date. He also NEVER Filed my paperwork or gave me copies, I had to chase it all down and do it all myself. Years later I still am dealing with them not doing there job! I paid them for doing almost nothing.

Do NOT hire this law firm!! I hired them through Upright Law to do a simple chapter 7 bankruptcy and they have proceeded to lie to me and have not returned my calls for 2 months at this point. Do NOT hire them. I am filing a grievance with the state of WI over this. Learn from my mistakes!

Do not utilize this law office. All the 1 star reviews are true. They are unresponsive and the quality of their work is poor. I had to call multiple times and leave messages over the online portal to get them to move on my paperwork. I was left waiting over a month for paperwork that was extremely simple. When I found mistakes on the paperwork, another version (the wrong version) was sent to me with even more mistakes. No QA/QC. When I went weeks without hearing anything, I called and was told they thought they uploaded the paperwork and would call me back. No calls and no paperwork. Even worse, they charged me for all the times I called or messaged because they were not doing their job or communicating.

Beloit is Lucky to have these Guys! They are without a doubt the best of the best when it comes to lawyers!!

The fact that they deleted my review speaks Volumes!
