They suck
Our experience with Dakota was professional, our communications were timely and concise and his demeanor was always that of a concerned friend. We have limited experience with litigation and Dakota always seemed to work with our best interest at heart. Quite refreshing in today’s climate of histrionics and money focused gains. I would highly recommend him to anyone that wants a straight answer and honest guidance.
Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful experience. I called to ask whether this law firm handles civil cases. The staff member said yes and asked what the issue was. As I began explaining my situation, she intentionally hung up on me. I immediately called back and asked for her name. She said her name was Melidy and spoke to me in a very rude and dismissive tone. Refused to tell me the last name. When I told her I wanted to file a complaint about her behavior, she responded with attitude and said I would have to pay $50 just to register before speaking to an attorney, then ended the conversation…. lol lol thank you
I posted on star as Google doesn't give the option of minus 0. This is one of the WORST law firms I've ever encountered. Let's start with the smaller issues before advancing to the unlawful. Phone calls unanswered, then double billed. I would ask a question, no response for days, then call back reiterating the exact same question. Changed $40 for call number one and another $40 for call number 2. Failure to comply with request for subpoena's to SECO. Those subpoenas were important to my case as they would reflect fraud and perjury of the opposition. Plappert completely ignored my request speaking of it weeks later after the opposition filed for Chapter 11. Plapperts response was that the case has been dismissed on account of the opponent filing chapter 11. Yet I made that request weeks prior. Then there's the mediation. I told Plappert I spoke to the opposition and he stated he absolutely didn't want to attend the mediation. Did Plappert get confirmation from the opponent that he wasn't attending? NO. Did Plappert inform the Judge no mediation and the reason? No. But Plappert did in fact
I can’t recommend the Florida Legal Advocacy Group highly enough—they truly turned what could have been a nightmare into a smooth, stress-free process. When my father passed away, I was overwhelmed navigating the probate for his property transfer, with no idea where to start. From the first consultation, attorneys Caleb Smith and Kathryn Mack were absolute lifesavers. Their expertise in probate law shone through every step, explaining complex legal jargon in plain English so I always felt informed and empowered. Caleb’s sharp attention to detail caught potential pitfalls I never would have spotted, while Kathryn’s warm, empathetic approach made the emotional side of things so much easier to bear. They were incredibly responsive—emails answered within hours, calls returned promptly—and kept everything on track without unnecessary delays or hidden fees. Their professionalism, combined with genuine care, made all the difference during such a tough time. If you’re dealing with estate matters, trust me, FLAG is the team you want in your corner. Grateful beyond words—thank you, Caleb and Kathryn! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Forever grateful for Attorney Stanley Plappert Abby and Dakota as well. They worked tirelessly to get justice for us on a PI case. Our calls and emails were always answered / returned in a timely manner. I always felt involved and aware of the steps that were being taken to get justice. Attorney Plappert is fair and KNOWS the laws, having him in your corner will take all of your worries away. Abby will work tirelessly to communicate with the insurance companies and the doctors to get you the best outcome for your case. Dakota was professional and prepared -I had no worries being in company of a true professional. Thank you Florida Legal Advocacy Group for fighting for what was right , and handling our case with grace and compassion!
5 stars to Attorney Melissa Thibeault for allowing me a peace of mind finally! It has almost been a year since the death of my children’s father and to have to fight an individual with no legal rights to my children over MY CHILDREN has caused me major anxiety to say the least. I tried resolving this case on my own but quickly realized I needed a legal professional for my case. I thank GOD for placing Melissa in my path. She’s knowledgeable, professional and a calm spirited person and she fought for me and the outcome was definitely in my favor and I appreciate that more than she will ever know. Melissa kept me informed every step of the way, gave me assurance and did not allow me to settle in my case for just anything. To say the least my children and I can FINALLY move forward in our lives TOGETHER without the anxiety and it feels so good for all of this to finally be over! Thank you GOD and thank you Melissa!
Daniel was my attorney and helped me achieve my desired result. Jessica was very helpful and communicative but did not come in until later in the process. Daniel was very good about getting back to me with emails and phone calls, something which I hear attorneys are not good at doing! Hopefully I’ll never need an attorney again but would use them again! Double check the subtraction in your invoices as I found multiple errors in subtraction on statements, always in favor of the law firm!
Melissa Thibeault was an outstanding lawyer. She is skilled, dedicated, and went the extra mile for my case. She won my case and justice prevailed! I can’t say enough about what a great lawyer she is.
Top notch professional. Very attentive, informative and practical. Highly recommend.
Liked the attorneys, but I couldn't afford them.
I’m a low income senior on disability. I thought an “advocacy” group would care more about advocating for people who need it, not telling them “sure we will help if you give us thousands of dollars”. That’s not advocacy, that’s greed!
I am so thankful for the attorneys that helped us during a very frustrating legal case . Smith , Raymer , the front desk were very professional and easy to work with. Even when I did not understand the process they were their to explain the process at every step. They always answered the phone and talked to us which is a rarity these days! I am shocked that some people would think they were rude and did not help them . The legal process can be very cumbersome and confusing at times but that is where the lawyer takes over because they know the process even if you do not or understand it. Thank you for the help we received , I would most definitely use them again if the need arises. Ty
Melissa Thibault was very helpful in answering all of my questions. She won my custody case. Melanie at the front desk was very kind. We always had a great conversation and made the visit feel welcoming. Thank you.
Very professional and understanding,we went in with a big problem ,we met with attorney Dakotah Flint,Esquire and his diligence was remarkable,he took care of our problem fast,l recommend anyone that needs an attorney go to Florida Legal Advocacy Group, thanks Mr Dakotah Flint.
The person who took my initial call was very professional and informative. The actual attorney consultation was good. I had a lot of questions but I wasn’t too sure what could be answered prior taking on the case. But the receptionist there was the most unprofessional person I’ve seen in this county. I walked in and she was on the phone with her head down. She made I contact but quickly put her head down. After she hangs up she doesn’t excuse herself or welcomes me. She asks if I had an appointment and first she couldn’t find it and then she did. She hands me a clip board and says to fill out the 2 pages. I hand her back the filled out papers and she walks away. She loudly starts talking about a co worker that called out and that co worker continually calls out among other comments and she was on the hall way with a door closed. That’s how loud she was speaking. After she seats in the desk, I had to ask what’s the next step. She is the person that calls me back about the fee of the attorney. And I explained about the referral I got and she just went on about how they don’t do low income or pro bono. I mean she was so nasty and rude and I see this is a pattern because there is another review about her attitude. She was so unprofessional that as pleasant as the attorney and the lady that answered my original phone call is. I am not proceeding with this law firm and I hope the firm rethinks her training and make changes.
