I called several disability offices with some questions about how to a handle a situation between my disability and work and everyone was very helpful except for The Good Law Group. There are other good local options out there if you’re having issues.

Yes I won in court. That said, I was prepared to write the same review regardless of the outcome. My case was originally denied 2x because someone sitting behind a desk all day at the SSDI office. Defined my job running an extremely busy high volume restaurant as “light duty”. Well when it got to court. SSDI had a “job expert” there to testify. Neil Good and his team were so amazingly prepared for this. He knew what to say and what to ask me. So much so that when the judge asked the expert if I could return to that job or similar. She responded with no hesitation, NO! I felt we won at that point but it was nice to get the official decision. Going after the SSDI that you worked for and now need. Could be a long and winding road. The Good Law Group answers the phone and calms your nerves after every letter. You don’t even respond, to the letters as they do. And in the end they are 100% prepared should it go all the way to court. Thank you for everything Good Law Group. I know that I called too often and was always stressed out. But everyone was always so nice and knowledgeable.

Typical, "Used Car Salesman" Lawyers who talk out both sides of mouth and neither is honest. Bare minimalists who have YOU do most of the leg work getting forms and documents filled out by your Drs and send back in and most likely have to do again claiming never received yet when they have their greasy palms out, charge the maximum like they did ANYTHING other then file needed court paperwork. THIS GROUP ONCE THEY FIND OUT YOUR "SUCCESFULL" IN YOUR APPLICATION PROCES AND THEY ARE GETTING PAID EVENTUALLY THEY FALL OFF FACE OF EARTH AND TAKE 2 WEEKS TO CALL BACK IF AT ALL. CLAIMING EVERY QUESTION ABOUT THE PROCESS NOW IS "BEYOND OUR LEGAL SCOPE" THESE BOTTOM FEEDERS TOOK FEDERAL MAX OUT OF MY BACKPAY FROM MY FAMILY FOR FILING AN APPEAL. THATS ALL THEY DID! I DID ALL OTHER LEG WORK FOR THEM AND FORWARDED. EXTREMELY RUDE, SHORT, OFFICE SUPPORT STAFF WHO NEVER DOES WHAT THEY SAY THEY WILL Do yourself a favor Chicago is a very large city law groups like Nash Disability, who are true Professional, not ambulance chasing Dad and Son teams are the way to go! My legal process with them is not complete yet. Regardless of what they think they're not getting away with it.I promise you that one way or another. This review and statement was 100% accurate with no fluctuation of story. So I'm sure with their follow-up posts, they're going to claim otherwise with a big smile and the typical used car salesman. "Trust me approach". You will have to decide.Why would anybody take the time to slam a business business If it wasn't true?

Shawn Good... Is a great attorney! What I can say about him is this... He is very professional, straight to the point, hard-working and does care about his clients and their disabilities. He fought for me and worked my case for about a good 2 years, and the decision was then finally made in my favor. This is all because of Shawn and The Good Law Group guiding me through, out the whole process, taking me through all the steps and procedures and always giving me a full understanding of what will come next... Shawn was unprepared at the closing of my house sale. We sat waiting as the seller for approximately 2.5 hours at closing at the title company when we were told would take about 20 minutes, because he did not have the documents ready. He first had me sign documents with the incorrect buyer's information on it and then the numbers he had on the correct closing documents were incorrect by thousands of dollars. I would say it is safe to assume he never looked at any documents for the closing of my sale before I was sitting in front of him that day. He also raised his voice in front of my young child and was grossly unprofessional when it was brought up that numbers he was referencing were not correct. We heard him blame his assistant, the buyers attorney and even us for his lack of preparation that day and difficult milestones in the sale. Seemed to be everyone else's fault around him that he wasn't prepared. We had to send the title company documents ourselves right then and there that we had already sent his assistant prior to closing. He didn't even know that our divorce was finalized despite being told this information several times including being provided a copy of the certified dissolution. He had even asked about the divorce via text only 24 hours before the closing and was told again at that time it was finalized and a copy of the dissolution had been provided to his assistant. Yet, that was one of the first thing he asked when we arrived and then stated he didn't have a copy of it. He made the comment "We're both having a bad day" at one point. We were not having a bad day before experiencing his lack of professionalism in real time. If you want someone who will show up unprepared, drop the ball and never retain the answer to the same questions he asks multiple times, he's your guy! This was a very disappointing and unfortunately expensive experience. The irony of him telling my ex-wife she should blame herself for issues with the process when he was so ill prepared is outstanding. He took no accountability whatsoever.

We were blessed to have worked with Shawn throughout the sale of our house. He was prompt and helped explain everything in detail. He understood certain aspects that we needed and was super friendly. We would work with him again if in the area or if needed. Thanks Shawn!!
