Kind, thoughtful, compassionate: I met Mark as the result of an unfortunate situation – I was involved in a very contentious custody battle in NC and had to participate in the deposition of an out-of-state doctor in Philadelphia. An old friend was to represent me and he had to withdraw at the very last minute. Less than a week before the deposition, he reached out to Mark Goodheart who gamely took me on, in what was undoubtedly one of the biggest facets of my case – 500 miles away. Mark was fabulous. Jumping right in, he made himself available to me immediately. Mark carved time out of his very busy schedule to review crucial documents, spoke to me and my local attorneys countless times and made certain that he was intimately familiar with all of the nuances of my daughter’s medical condition. Going in to the deposition, he was provided with a rough sketch of questions, but he hardly referred to them – so thorough was his preparation and his knowledge of medical terms and familiarity with doctors and malpractice. The deposition could not have gone any better and I was thrilled with my representation by Mark Goodheart.
