Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience coming to Greenberg Law. In short, I came to here to have legal assistance for a small claims contract issue with a former business parnter. I did receieve a free phone consultation, then visited the office where I explained in full and spoke with a lawyer regarding my issue and what possible solutions there were. The lawyer was very helpful and made me feel confident I could win my contract issue, the consulation was around $475 but I thought this was the right office to go with. I sent over all the requested legal docutments but did not hear anything for nearly 3 months. I sent my first update request and was told someone in the office was on vacation and would return on a certain date, I then sent another update request after still not hearing back and was told one of the lawyers is out the office and will be out the state. I then sent another follow up 3rd update telling them I was upset I was not updated; again this is after nearly 3 months dealing with a stressful legal contract issue that affects me financially. I received a call from the office and received and apology and a refund check for the consulation. This was appreciated and accepted by me, but at the end of the day the one thing that can't be returned to us is time. I spent 3 months hoping to have this resolved ASAP but not have to start the process all over again with another office.

Mr. Greenberg is one of the most kind-hearted people you'll meet and is incredibly knowledgeable, willing to help you through any situation!

Around a year ago, Barry assisted me in the process of evicting a tenant in my home - he handled all communication with said individual in a prompt, professional, and direct manner. The renter left according to the deadline he established, and my life started to return to normal. For this, I am greatly appreciative. Approximately six months ago, I referred a good friend to Barry for assistance with a Criminal/Traffic Defense case - he jumped in without hesitation and guided this person through a very difficult time. She is incredibly grateful for his assistance, as am I. I would recommend the Greenberg Law Firm to anyone in need of solid legal counsel.

We had requested a thirty minute consultation to determine the feasibility of our case in person. It went to an hour long, which we were fine with paying for that extra time. What we were NOT fine with is that we were not consulted on any pre-meeting billable hours , nor had we approved any pre-meeting billable hours. What turned from a consultation fee of $475, turned into a nightmare of him sending us a bill for hours of "service" on the topic that probably took no more than 15 minutes for him to write up, totaling up to over $1,000! I have visited with several attorneys in the past on consultations and no one has EVER tried to bill me in this manner. I did not hire him as my attorney. It was Extremely unprofessional, and we felt taken advantage of. So, We only paid him the $475, which was the original amount that was agreed upon.
