My name is not Marena
Marena, you previously left an untrue and nonsense review under your real name, so why are you posting more slander using a fake name? Seems cowardly or a scam to me.
I’m fully aware that "Chuck" will likely respond defensively to this review, as accountability for himself and his firm is not his strong suit. That said, I will be echoing what many other reviewers have already said. The attorney I was assigned repeatedly told me things like “we’ll file your motion tomorrow” or “I am working on it now,” and weeks turned into months with nothing actually being done. Despite being reassured that my case was being handled, there was zero movement. Because of this, I nearly ended up in contempt and was lectured by the judge for not filing a motion — the exact thing I hired the firm for and something I had been told over and over was being taken care of. I brought this to the attention of firm leadership and was told they would keep a closer eye on my case. That never happened. More time passed, more billing occurred, and still no progress. I was also billed for things that never happened and accounting never responded when I brought it to their attention. I eventually hired a different attorney, and meaningful action was taken almost immediately. If you’re okay paying for false promises instead of results, this firm may be fine. Otherwise, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
April,

C'mon. You know better than to tell these lies. In fact we both pretty much agreed on all the facts, especially the fact that I was not required to do ANYTHING when the judge went off on both of us. Further, on more than one occassion, I suggested you find a new attorney. I'm fine if you'd like to air out your latest grips after several attorneys before me left your case. I should have left earlier. RED FLAGS. SO SAD.
Chuck
"A man incapable of shame is a man incapable of redemption".. Charles reveals the extent of his character in his responses to criticism... "Vile" is the only word I can muster.. DO NOT HIRE.
Zero stars! Paid over 7k! They did nothing they said they would do hardly. When you first go into speak with them make sure everything they say is in writing before you pay a dime.. actually just go else where! They sent the same emails regarding topics that were already discussed, as if they were not taking notes and racked up a larger bill for me while doing it. They did not subpoena the people they said they would into court. They did not retrieve paperwork/evidence that I submitted to the courts in an improper manner. Who knew you had to have a copy for everybody... Either way they didn't get it and submitted properly like they said they would. They did not get the police report they said needed and that they would get! They did not fight for my rights and I lost custody of my daughter who now is struggling in her mom's home. They have no respect and got pushy when I questioned the way they were representing me. The did not push the purjury that my ex committed and they are not respectable people! Stay away from this FIRM! "YOU REPLY" to my review with... Sorry we made you leave my office.. don't act like you didn't go in front of Judge Garcia with me buddy! You never made me leave! Emails, you did send send me emails asking the same crap twice! Emails are only one of my complaints you y'all! Truth is, I'm done trying to make it right with you. That's why I put it on your page for everyone to see. I don't leave reviews ever and have no reason to dirty up your name just for fun.
Adam, Sorry that we had to ask you to leave our office when we represented you. I have 47 emails with you, but that doesn't include the large number of phone calls and regular mail that disagree with these ridiculous things you've said. Hey, I have a great idea. Please post the emails for everyone to see. It will be easier for everyone to see who you really are.
I hired this law firm to represent me in a custody case against my ex — a situation I’ve unfortunately had to face many times, and every single time he’s been denied. I retained their services and paid around $4,500 upfront, expecting professional guidance and advocacy. Instead, I was told there was nothing they could do for me, that I was essentially screwed, and that I would likely end up paying my ex’s attorney fees in addition to more money owed to them beyond the retainer I had already paid. I ultimately decided to fire this attorney, represent myself, and I won the case without their help. This experience left me feeling like the firm cared far more about collecting fees than about fighting for their client. I felt unsupported, dismissed, and taken advantage of at a time when I needed real legal representation. If you’re looking for a lawyer who will truly advocate for you and not just drain your wallet, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
Marena - I hope you'll have the courage to sign a release allowing us to FULLY and ACCURATELY respond to your misleading review. Even though we worked together for only about 24 hours, we did, and will always advocate for complying with court orders. We're looking forward to you allowing us to elaborate our response.
It's been a few years since Chuck walked with me through through a very contentious divorce and several issues that popped up in the years afterward. Through all I was treated in many ways like I was his only client. He knows the law, the system, and the players and overall has made some scary times of uncertainty a lot less scary. Most importantly, he cares. I would recommend him to anyone looking for representation in a divorce or custody situation.
Kyle, I truly appreciate you remembering me. It's gratifying to know that you and I working together made a positive impact on your wonderful children's lives. Thanks for letting me a part of that. Wishing you and them all the best.
Chuck
Charles Kronzek was very thorough, communicative, and helpful. Everything you want from an attorney!
Jamie, thank you so much for allowing us to help you through a challenging situation. Please feel free to reach out to us in the future even if you just have a quick legal question you'd like an answer to. Wishing you all the best in the future.
I’m leaving this review not as a reflection of your services, but due to the nature of the owner’s responses to client feedback. As someone in business development, I hold communication and professionalism in high regard—especially in difficult situations. I was considering retaining your firm to represent one of my employees, but I was disheartened to see responses that, in my opinion, did not uphold the level of professionalism I would expect from a legal representative. Even when facing criticism, I believe it's important to respond with composure and respect, rather than engaging at the same tone or level. That kind of maturity builds trust and earns long-term clients. I sincerely hope to see growth in how communication is handled going forward, and I wish your team the best. Thank you for taking the time to read and consider this feedback.
Reviews here are intended to reflect services provided, not your opinion of the responses to client feedback. You seem like an "interesting" person, having reviewed your reviews from Michigan to Yemen to North Carolina. I hope you can find growth and learn to follow rules going forward.
I would highly recommend this law firm. They were understanding, respectful and most of all responsive. They answered any questions we had and went above and beyond helping us understand what we needed to be prepared, a long with meeting with us. Thank you Kronzek law firm. We felt we were in the best hands.
Thank you, Kim, for taking your time to leave these kind words. We appreciate you allowing us to help with a difficult situation.
Kyle was a horrible attorney, never once did he fight for my daughter and I, paid him good money to help us and all he did in the end was quit and throw us to the wolves. I wouldn’t ever recommend this law firm especially the attorney Kyle wow he sucks
The Kronzek Firm did a wonderful job, and helped me with getting my issue resolved. Thank you for your hard work!
Thanks for taking your time to leave a review for our firm. It is truly appreciated. We're grateful that you allowed us to help you.
Do not hire. I retained Chuck for my divorce and other things came up with my wife and her ex, he instantly got involved and I even told him that I didn't want him involved and that I would not be paying for him to communicate as this did not pertain to my case. he responded with "Typically, I don't ask my client's permission to do the job I've been hired to do." I even told his associate the issues I've had in the past with treatment from a lawyer and his associate even said they would do everything possible to look out for me and would listen and recommend suggestions. I had Chuck retained for 2 weeks and that was the opposite of what was happening. he is out of touch with what is happening in today's society and still thinks he's a super lawyer from 1996 which he has displayed all over the office. he even bargs about how he knows all the judges in the area since he went to law school with them and has a great working relationship, heard that before. he then even bragged about the high profile clients he has with one sending their private plane to take him where he needs to be for them and puts him in the nicest hotels. this just shows he cares only about his own interests and just like most lawyer, if not all, he cares about himself and the money you're paying, not you. find a different firm and lawyer to save yourself a lot of issues. I have even had better luck doing things on my own as Chuck did absolutely nothing as he had an associate respond to the divorce and the it all up, he just signed it. I have the emails showing the opposite,if anyone would like to see them in regards to his response. it is true. he doesn't accept someone having a view other than his and has done nothing in 2 weeks. crooks! just received an invoice from the firm and saw that the supposeded lawyer that didn't do anything charged $2500 to respond to a lawyer he had nothing to do with in regards to my case. he responded to emails and text messages. and read the fine print! they expect payment to get started on your case but when their are no longer you lawyer they can hold your money for WEEKS! if no MONTHS! the letter they sent said 45 to 60 days to get your money returned to you. they don't do anything and get to keep your money. never met lawyer that charges you for his own doings and does his own thing on your dime! find a good lawyer that actually listens and looks out for you, not his own name and pocket book! I can post the invoice if anyone would like to see it before they decide on a lawyer
Hi Chris,
Your untrue and absurd review confirms some of the very reasons I told you I was no longer willing to represent you. I don't fire clients very often, and I don't recall ever firing a client after only 2 weeks working with them. You're the record holder! I'm sorry you think you know more about that law and proper legal procedure than I do. You don't! I kindly offered to stay on your case until you find a new attorney. I'm now more likely to treat you the same way you're choosing to treat me. Oh well. Go figure out what it means to regularly shoot yourself in the foot. You excel with that. I'll send you an email privately that will explain my revised time requirements for accommodating you while you look for a different attorney.
It is a shame I am unable to provide zero stars for the kronzek (lower case "k", no mistake. Not worthy.) team. I hired the firm to handle a case, and things are incredibly worse than a public defendant could possibly accomplish. Anyway, wanted you (the public) to know, seek help elsewhere. Sorry if you have already been victimized. Update: I did contact your firm (phone records can confirm) and spoke to Chuck himself who assigned me an attorney. Yes, I have paperwork to substantiate my claim, no worries.
You did not hire our firm as we have no client named Chris Turner. We have no contract and you paid our firm no funds. You did call us 3 times but apparently hired a different attorney. So sad for you. But one thing is for sure. Since you wrote this bogus review, you are now a "public defendant." Perhaps if you had hired our firm, your results would have been different.
This review is bout my recent experience with this firm that I researched for awhile before I actually contacted them .. because they specialize and advocate for ur children and parents who are wrongfully targeted by CPS corrupt agents who love breaking up families..I actually talked to the woman who would have represented me and my wife in a wrongful neglect allegations brought on me by a sister sibling who has hated me since our parents died 20 years ago on a old grudge that she won't let go. But yo my point I wanted to hire this firm that preach or maintained what they are great at defending and that's CPS agents with their own agenda but with no accountability for their choices or how they break laws to get what they want..my case should have never lasted this long but I couldn't find a firm that would have no retainer fee that most working families could not afford..that's the problem ilor issue I had with this firm.im not enjoying this review but when agencies and corrupt individuals try to destroy ur family and tear it apart and use ur congnitive impaired daughter to do it u want the best representation you can find that has flexibility in there fees or sign agreement with them for their services done..but I could not get them to help me with my case without a huge retainer fee that I couldn't afford and also not knowing what results I was going to get win or lose.. I just wanted the best for my daughter without breaking bank. I wasn't looking for charity or free services just little flexibility to catch my breath because my court appointed attorney was terrible and now I'm in a real situation that could be disasterous and I would never see my daughter again and I can't let that happen because of terrible representation and terrible court rulings.. thank you kronzek firm for at least listening and returning my messages and calls.. I would have been willing to pay you more than you requested if u allowed me flexibility.. have a good day.
Joe, it's so sad that you'd leave a lousy review for our firm that you didn't hire because you didn't have the money. But I have an offer for you. I need to buy a tankful of gas for my car tomorrow morning. The gas station is right across the street from my office. Would you mind stopping there and asking if they'd just give me the gasoline and show me some flexibility in needing to pay for the gas? If you can do that, and then get the grocery store to have some flexibility with me paying for this week's groceries, and with WalMart waiting a while before I pay for my purchases there, I might be able to have some flexibility with you. Please let me know how that goes so we can get started. If that doesn't work out, I can give you the names of people that we showed flexibility with in the past, and they never paid us. Will you go chase them down and get our money for us?
Chuck Kronzek
Would not recommend Ask Kyle to return all my reference letters by USPS nothing . I had many issues with Kyle kept changing what I needed to do I have multiple sclerosis Only had a short amount of time to talk with the Judge. Kyle assured me that we would not have to testify also had a 99percent the court would rule in favor of expungement. Also an issue with mail that was sent to Kyle not receiving references
Mark, as we explain to EVERY person convicted of a crime, asking the court to expunge that conviction is NEVER assured. At no time would we tell you, or anyone with a criminal record, about 99% the court would rule in favor of expungement. That simply isn't true. What is true, is an ongoing list of things unexpectedly arising that require our attorney as well as the assistance of our client. That doesn't mean things "kept changing" it simply means we stay right on top of the case and deal with every detail if it arises. In terms of returning any/all of a file, every client is offered multiple options for receiving the file after a case is done. Mail is one option, but as most people understand, the U S Mail is horrible these days so if something was mailed, maybe you get it and maybe you don't. We have found it much more reliable to email documents to clients since they are quicker and more reliable. At the end of the day, you and we aren't happy with the judge's decision to expunge your record, but we fought this battle as best as we could.
I’m so thankful that I found Kronzek law firm to help us with our case. We talked to different law firms before finding Kronzek Law and only attorneys at Kronzek who really listen to us and believe in us. Our attorney, Kyle Debruycker is amazing. We immediately retained him as soon as we talked to him. We don’t even think twice. He is very knowledgeable, very professional, very experienced and really puts so much work for us. I strongly recommend Kyle to anyone who needs help with legal matters. He saved our family. I would give 10 stars if I could! Thank you!!!
Dewi - We are grateful and humbled by the opportunity you gave us to help your beautiful family. Thank you so much for your kind words.
My lawyer was completely unprepared for my custody hearing. Go elsewhere if you're having a divorce.
Bill - OK, at least be honest and tell the full story. Or come sign a release so I can tell the whole story of why you chose to leave our firm a horrible review. Man up, dude. Sign a release so we can air the dirty laundry on the internet. Suffice to say that less than 24 hours before you left you untrue review, you asked that we represent you in court, knowing full well that we withdrew from representing you previously. Of course we declined to work for you again and you left a negative review. What a guy you are.
I have had the pleasure of having the Kronzek firm represent me twice. With that said every legal situation is different, lawyers aren’t magicians. I promise you, at least from my 16 months of working with the firm, specifically Kyle Debrucker, that you will get a highly trained lawyer giving you advice that best represents your interests. Sometimes in family law it might be difficult but ask them question and you will get a well thought out answer of why the advised approach is warranted and the dangers or consequences of other approaches. The choice will always be yours they are firm on the belief but work hard to create an approach that meets your objectives. I have never been continuously defended and cared for the way the kronzek firm did. It was a long battle but sticking the line led to a very favorable result for me and the most important person to me my son. Just remember every situation is different and there are processes in all legal situations, and those processes are frustrating but it is the legal system. I promise you that the kronzek firm will work on your behalf better than most (if not the best in the state). Is the kronzek firm cheap? No but when it comes to custody disputes, CPS, divorce and other family matters you want the best and you pay for what you get. That being said they are very transparent with finances and you are billed for service not a flat rate. Any time I need a family lawyer Chuck and Kyle will always get my call. Thanks for the hard work guys!
Alec, our team thrives on challenging cases because we understand the importance of family, children and of course, our wonderful clients (like you.) We appreciate you and wish you a healthy, happy, peaceful holiday.
Poor communication, just simply forwards emails from the other party with no context, explanation, or suggestions. I had to beg for advise on how to proceed with a response. When it’s all done you just handed a stack of paperwork with no organization.
Our 23 emails to you confirm lots of communications to you and a review of our invoices to you confirms we absolutely forwarded emails from "the other party" to you to keep you fully informed about your case at all times. Among those 23 emails, we find a great deal of legal advice when appropriate, despite you presenting yourself as a sophisticated business person that understands these things. As is our practice, we give legal advice and we bill for it, when it is warranted. When it is sufficient to simply forward an email without further commentary, we do that without charging our client. Thousands of clients over the decades have thanked us for our approach to careful billing to our clients. Wishing you all the best, Brooks.
Outstanding law firm. Very caring, and excellent communication. Highly recommend Chuck and Lindsey. Would give them 10 stars if I could.
Thank you so much, Carolyn. We're so happy for you and we are happiest for your grandchildren. Thank you for choosing us to help you with this journey. All the best to your family.
