I had contacted this firm for legal advice. It was supposed to be one to two questions that I specifically needed from an Ohio attorney as I am out of state. When I called, the paralegal wasn’t friendly, kept interrupting me and then after stating she didn’t understand me, she made me email my entire concern to her and stated the attorney will call me to answer questions. After some days later, I got a response back from the paralegal with an attached letter from the attorney saying he declined to represent me. This was confusing because never once did I ask for representation in a case and I was only expecting a call back for my questions to be answered, a question that I would have, of course, paid for. My recommendation is for the paralegal to receive some additional training when speaking to potential clients as most situations need to be handled with empathy but I felt that was lacking towards me. My other recommendation is for the attorney to not assume someone wants to be “represented”, so calling the person back to answer a couple questions could have earned him a nice check depending what he charges per hour, and not assume what the potential client wants. Needless to say, I felt unwelcome and I sought other attorneys who were able to answer my question and were super empathetic.

David and his team were so wonderful in helping me resolve my issue with a former employer. After talking to a lot of different employment attorneys I was so relieved to find David. In our initial call, David and Bryan listened to my story, were empathetic and understanding and gave me such sound advice. While going through the legal process David and Bryan always answered my questions quickly and walked me through everything thoroughly. They made me feel very comfortable in what can be a very stressful and emotional situation. They helped resolve my matter quickly. I couldn’t recommend David and his firm enough for any employment issue.
