Jurie Joyner and the rest of the CT Law team were amazing to work with. I feel like it’s rare to find an attorney who makes you feel this comfortable going through such a tough experience. I would absolutely recommend her if you’re looking for an attorney that truly cares.
Attorney Jurie Joyner was wonderful to work with. She is incredibly kind, caring, and easy to talk to, which made a stressful situation much easier to navigate. What I appreciated most was how clear she was about the long-term goals in my case. Instead of trying to nickel and dime me with every possible litigation step, she focused on what actually mattered and what would best move the case forward. It’s clear that she really cares about her clients. I highly recommend!
Very caring and highly efficient team! Excellent service and wonderfully professional personalities made it fast and easy on what would otherwise be a harrowing experience.
I worked with Nicole during my divorce, and she was professional, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout the process. She helped guide me through each step and ensured everything was handled properly from start to finish. I appreciated her responsiveness and her help in navigating such an important and personal matter. I’m grateful for her assistance in helping me move forward and close this chapter.
I cannot recommend CT Law highly enough. From start to finish, the team handled my case with professionalism, preparation, and genuine care. Casey was exceptional in the courtroom — confident, strategic, and thoroughly prepared. Her advocacy led not only to a successful outcome, but the Court also awarded me attorney’s fees. Throughout the process, I felt supported and informed. Communication was clear, deadlines were met, and every detail was handled with precision. What could have been an overwhelming experience was made manageable because I had the right team representing me. If you are looking for a firm that is responsive, knowledgeable, and truly fights for its clients, CT Law is the one to call. Five stars without hesitation. I wish I could leave more stars!!
We hired Casey in April 2025 for an adoption. From the beginning, there was a consistent lack of communication and clarity regarding our case and paperwork. Our initial consultation with Casey was canceled last minute and reassigned to a paralegal, yet we were still charged the full consultation fee. I had to call multiple times to ensure that fee was properly credited toward our retainer. Throughout our case, we experienced long periods without responses and were told that “it’s very rare to get a same-day response of any substance.” We have worked with multiple attorneys over the years and have never had difficulty receiving at least same-day acknowledgment from a legal team member. During our consultation, the paralegal set expectations that Casey later described as “unrealistic.” There appeared to be ongoing miscommunication between the paralegal and Casey, which left us repeatedly filling information gaps and restating details before we could move forward. We also learned midway through the process that the Casey Tuggle Law Office does not operate from a physical office location open to clients. Calls are not transferred, and messages are simply taken, leaving you to wait and hope for a return call or email. The only time progress was made was when we were able to get someone on the phone—if the call wasn’t canceled. Had we not called and emailed multiple times each week, I believe our case would have been significantly delayed. To be fair, the adoption was finalized in about three months, which is relatively fast. However, I strongly believe the timeline was expedited because of our own persistence and constant follow-up. The stress caused by poor communication and lack of responsiveness placed a significant strain on our daily lives. The most concerning issue occurred after finalization. Our personal information and official court documents were mailed to Vital Statistics without tracking. After three months of being told they had not received the paperwork, on December 3, 2025, we were informed the documents were likely “lost” in the mail and that we were responsible for obtaining new certified copies and mailing them ourselves. The refiling fees alone totaled $1,000. We had only been provided one official copy, leaving us without backups. When I expressed concern, Casey offered to obtain additional documents and mail them “soon.” However, by February, we had still received no response from anyone in the office. As a result, we had to hire another attorney to obtain the necessary documents. To add, I was not the client, my husband was. Yet anytime my husband called or emailed they completely ignored him and only responded to my emails and calls and only sent updates to myself and not my husband who was the client. We have since hired Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor and have experienced consistent updates, inclusion in the process, and weekly communication.
The Law Office of Casey Tuggle has been wonderful to work with. Casey and her team are always responsive! Any time I've reached out with a question I would receive a response in a timely manner. The answers I received were well thought out and definitely had my best interest in mind.
Casey’s law firm are the only one I recommend to friends and family.
I want to start by saying that I am a very normal person who went through a deeply traumatizing divorce. If you do not read anything else in this review, please read the one-star reviews for Casey Tuggle. They are accurate. When I initially called Casey Tuggle, I was told the consultation would cost $250 and that this fee would be applied toward the full service cost of $4,500. This was for an uncontested divorce, meaning my ex-husband and I were in agreement on all matters, which should have required less work. During the phone call, Casey sounded understanding and sympathetic and indicated the process would move fairly quickly due to the lack of conflict. After the call, I received an invoice for the remaining balance of $4,250. The next day, I received an email stating that an additional $250 was owed, despite being told the consultation fee would be included. That should have been my warning sign. That initial call was the only time I ever spoke directly with Casey over the course of approximately four and a half months. After payment was made, I was left to complete all paperwork on my own. When I reached out for guidance via email, I was repeatedly told Casey was busy. I was shuffled between different paralegals and never had consistent communication or direction. I completed and submitted all requested paperwork within a week. After that, I waited while the office delayed filing it with the court. I emailed weekly asking for updates and was repeatedly told there were none. Only after my father called the office did my paperwork get filed the very next day. That does not feel coincidental. Once the paperwork was submitted, I was told to wait 31 days for finalization. After those 31 days passed, I again reached out and was told there were still no updates. I was then informed that the judge wanted an in-person court appearance, something that had never been mentioned previously. I was told a court date would not be scheduled soon due to the holidays. This conversation occurred on December 6, giving almost 3 weeks until Christmas. January came and went with no communication. Despite weekly check-ins (me emailing the office), I received no updates. During the second week of January, I contacted the courthouse myself and learned a court date had already been set. When I emailed Casey to confirm this, she responded by telling me I had no business seeking information without her. She accused me of being disrespectful to her staff and threatened to drop my case. At no point did I disrespect anyone. I have emails to prove this. From the moment payment was made, communication was essentially nonexistent. Requests to speak directly with Casey were denied due to her being busy or on vacation, while her TikTok account was consistently active with daily posts. After being threatened with having my case dropped, I no longer felt comfortable asking questions. On the day of my court appearance, I arrived with no guidance on where to go, what to expect, or who would be representing me. Casey did not attend. Instead, she sent a colleague without informing me in advance. While that attorney was kind and helpful, it was not who I hired or paid for. Casey Tuggle does not communicate with her clients. I paid $4,500 and spent months speaking only to rotating paralegals, experiencing unanswered phone calls and ignored emails. During one of the darkest periods of my life, I felt abandoned, dismissed, and made to feel like a burden for asking basic questions. This experience added unnecessary stress and emotional harm during an already painful time. I strongly caution anyone considering hiring Casey Tuggle to read the one-star reviews carefully before moving forward. EDITED TO ADD: photo below showing she sent me an invoice.
Amber, while I welcome feedback (even negative) from clients, I cannot allow this review to go unaddressed as if any part of it has merit. As an initial matter, you never received an invoice for $4,250 - point blank. Your allegations regarding the consultation fee and fee for services are simply untrue. Further, after completing your intake forms (paperwork that should be filled out by you and you alone), you asked my firm to put your case "on hold" pending conclusion of personal matters. That alone accounted for immense delay. Further, your settlement documents required several revisions, as you and your spouse had not yet reached an agreement when you retained my services for an "uncontested divorce" - and those revisions were accounted for despite the fact that you didn't pay for them, as a courtesy. Your paperwork was filed 6(!) days after you provided the final terms of settlement. That is not a significant delay whatsoever.

Only one judge in your county requires in-person appearances to issue Decrees of Divorce. Judges are randomly assigned when a case is filed, so it would have been impossible for me to tell you at the onset that an in-person appearance would be required. Nonetheless, you were not charged for it - again, a service offered as a courtesy.

Once the statutorily-required 31 days passed and we waited for the post-holiday court calendar, we scheduled the hearing with the court. As I previously informed you, I personally filed the Notice of Hearing at 9:32pm. The following morning, between the time it was accepted by the clerk (8:02am) and my update to you (10:51am), you found it necessary to call the clerk of court yourself and get the information.

Based on your continued disrespect of my staff and lack of patience for the legal process, I offered you the opportunity to handle the case on your own (since you clearly didn't have a problem doing that). You advised that you'd appreciate continued representation, and you received exactly that. You received instruction on the hearing, and my associate-attorney attended the hearing with you - a hearing that merely required your presence and request (through counsel) for the judge to sign the Final Decree. Between having your dad call my office incessantly (when he's not a party to your divorce and has no legal standing to gain information about your case status), complaining about my social media team's activity on TikTok, or indicating that I don't personally have a right to take vacation days over the Christmas holidays, it is clear that there was nothing that my firm could have done to satisfy your needs. I only wish that could have been addressed sooner, so that you could have had the representation that you desired during such a trying time in your life. I wish you the best as you establish yourself in this new chapter. Take care. -Casey
I’m the Dad Casey is referring to in Ambers post. Anyone remotely thinking about using this firm please take time to read ALL the reviews, including the ones that are positive (mostly her staff and friends). No need to be long here. I’m sure Casey and her staff are nice people but that only comes to an end once they get your payment. Multiple calls and emails were sent without and answers (common theme in these reviews, we all can’t be wrong huh?) I was forced to intervene for my daughter after months of stalling from her firm only to get blasted by her young interns (pay them and you’ll see) who actually take over the case once Casey gets your money. Again, if you want better than what you see on here do yourself a favor and find another attorney to represent or you will only become frustrated as many on here are. I know you’re thinking she has a 4.1 rating, not bad huh? For an attorney that’s horrible. Casey, please take these reviews as constructive criticism and make changes, your future clients deserve better.
Ten out of ten I would never recommend using this office. They do not help you. They choose to”get it over with” rather than gather facts. Never get a response. Would NEVER recommend.
I am beyond grateful for Attorney Casey Tuggle and her support over this past year. What started as an overwhelming, stressful, and emotionally draining battle with a manipulative ex-husband turned into a journey where I finally felt protected, heard, and guided — all because of her. This process was long and drawn out, and there were days where I felt defeated, anxious, or unsure of what would happen next. But Casey never let me give up. She reassured me every step of the way, explained everything clearly, and constantly motivated me to keep fighting for myself and my children. She handled my case with strength, compassion, and professionalism — and she always made me feel like I wasn’t going through this alone. I truly don’t know how I would have made it through this year without her. If you are dealing with a difficult co-parenting situation or need someone who will stand firmly beside you in a tough family law battle, Casey Tuggle is the attorney you want. She gave me peace, clarity, and confidence during one of the hardest times of my life. I highly recommend her.
WOW WOW WOW!!!!! If you need an attorney to fight and kick the other teams behind, she’s your girl! She did not back down and is extremely professional but also on the “ I’m here to win” vibes. Thank you Casey and everyone involved with my case! ❤️
Read all the other reviews with one star. They're accurate. I implore anyone who has had poor experiences due to her negligence, lack of communication, lack of counsel, and ineffective assistance of counsel, to file a complaint with the State Bar of Georgia.
I cannot say enough good things about Casey Tuggle and her paralegal, Ashley Giddes... Three years ago, I was at the lowest point of my life as a single mother.....I didn't have a lawyer or the money to get one and my drug addicted, narcissistic and abusive ex lied and manipulated the courts, and without proper representation I lost custody of my daughter. Things got so bad that I even ended up on the news for abduct and kidnapping of my own child!! From the moment Casey took my case, everything changed. Things were getting done the first few days I had her as an attorney. It was like a big breath of relief....She listened, paid attention to EVERY detail, documented EVERYTHING and fought tirelessly for me for over a year and a half—not just against my ex and his attorney, but against an entire web of people and their lies. Through it all, Ashley was my rock. I texted her every day....I am a very worrisome person, and throughout the entire process she was always available to talk to me, answer my questions, and reassure me when I felt overwhelmed.Their communication and compassion made all the difference. Because of Casey’s dedication, knowledge, and determination, I now have full custody of my daughter again. She is back home where she belongs, surrounded by her siblings, thriving in school, and blossoming into the happy child she was meant to be. I will never be able to repay Casey and Ashley for what they’ve done for me and my family. If you ever have even a single doubt while working with Casey—don’t. She knows exactly what she’s doing, and she will fight for you every step of the way. If you are looking for an attorney who truly cares, fights hard, and gets results, I cannot recommend Casey Tuggle Law Firm enough!
Casey and the entire team have been amazing from start to finish. I felt, though out this process genuine care, consideration and devotion to my case. They truly made the impossible seem possible and fought for me and my case when I felt like I had nowhere to turn. I want to make sure to shoutout Ashely, Nicole, and Melissa as well, thank you for supporting me and addressing my question and concerns every step of the way. If I had to start all over again, I would choose Casey and her team over and over.
My wife made called the law "office" of Casey Tuggle and spk with Melissa about a child custody case. Melissa stated that it appeared that my wife has a case and scheduled a telephone conference with Casey for last Thursday. The fee for that was $250 for a one hour phone conference. Thursday comes and my wife got either a phone call or email stating Casey had a plumbing emergency at her house and could we reschedule the call for Friday at 9 am. We said no problem. Friday comes 9am and NO ONE from the office called. We spent Friday calling several times and all we got was voice mail. No return communication. Also my wife checked her bank account and saw that she was charged $250 two separate times on Friday. A total of $500 was taken from her account. The weekend passed and on Monday several calls were made by myself with voice messages left. NO RETURN CALLS made!! I consider this VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Tuesday morning comes and a email was sent stating the conference call was scheduled for Wednesday at 10am. At this point we are DONE. Called the "office" which btw is a pack and ship store with mailbox rentals , called twice on Tues and finally got a call back from Nicole stating that she only charged my wifes account once. I cancelled the appointment. Our bank is dealing with the wrong charges. Nicole did say she would refund $250 because she said it was only charged one time. We will find a professional law office that returns calls and doesn't break appointments because of plumbing problems.
