I was arrested in the South Puget Sound area and charged with 2nd degree DV assault, a class B felony. In addition to a minimum of 90 days in jail, a conviction would have had severe impacts on my career. I hired David based on a referral from a family friend. At my first meeting, Mr. Lousteau outlined the possible outcomes of my case, potential mitigating factors, and a detailed overview of next steps. Mr. Lousteau worked diligently over the next several months to negotiate my case with the prosecutor. His negotiations led to a favorable outcome-- either pleading guilty to 4th degree assault with no jail time, or taking pretrial diversion on the 2nd degree assault charge. I took the diversion option, and David assisted me through each step of this process over the next year. The end result of hiring Mr. Lousteau was that my felony charge was completely dismissed.
