I'm very happy I chose Mr. Rubalcava to set up my trust. What I thought was going to be an overwhelming experience was just the opposite. Because he is so knowledgeable, he was able to explain clearly and in a way that was easy to understand. I appreciated his patience and professionalism.

Very disappointed in this attorney. Went to him 5 years ago for a will. He recommended. I also do a transfer of death deed. Five years later I get a letter from the Assessor’s office that the deed needed to be corrected as he had crossed a sentence out which is not allowed. Called this attorney. He said he was out of town and would call me in a few days. Never received a phone call even after I called and texted him several times. What kind of person would not return phone calls to fix a mistake he made. Had to hire a new attorney to rescind that deed. My new attorney told me a transfer of trust deed is ill advised. He also put a secondary beneficiary which is not the correct thing to do as they would own the property as tenants in common. I plan on filing a complaint against him. UPDATE: Shortly after posting my one star review, I was contacted my this attorney. He apologized and stated that he had surgery and thought his office had contacted me. He refunded me the entire amount that I had to pay the new attorney.

After multiple attempts to reach out, there has been a lack of response to calls and texts. I'm uncertain if this may be related to the concerns surrounding the will he wrote for my father, which lacked clarity and thoroughness. I am now forced to go through probate if I don’t want lose a house that my father left. Who has the time and money for probate? I’d select a better attorney- one that would highlight the importance of writing a clear and concise will and living trust.
