I was hit by a car in November, and really put off getting a lawyer because I thought I could handle the aftermath all on my own. At the suggestion of my chiropractor, I reached out to Mr. Carter’s office in January. He and Jen Delago (who I primarily communicated with) were incredible. They handled everything, and they provided their services with the compassion and clarity that I so deeply needed as someone who was naive and overwhelmed. I cannot thank them enough. I was rear-ended in 2019 and going to James & his team was the best decision of my life (literally). I didn’t think I’d need an attorney since my car wasn’t in bad shape, but after months of neck pain, we later found out I had a tear in my shoulder and I would need surgery because of this accident. I heard about James through a coworker and was immediately comfortable and put at ease about what the process would like after just one meeting. From the second I chose them, they took care of all the insurance mess, taking an immense amount of pressure off of my shoulders (pun intended). They made sure I saw the best medical providers around with little to no waiting period, and never having to deal with the insurance/money back and forth nonsense. This whole time I was in pain and learning I would need surgery, I was working full-time and was in my last semester of University, so they helped in ways I will always be grateful for! On top of everything, I am a violinist of 14 years, no longer able to play my instrument because of this accident. When the surgeon gave me the choice of dealing with the pain and not really ever playing my violin comfortably, or surgery with a 6+ month recovery time, I was a mess. James’ staff, specifically Jen, was on the phone with me helping me weigh the options and truly helped me through that very emotional decision. Now a year after my surgery, I am back at playing my violin, with James and Jen having taken care of the case for me. I will forever be grateful for the work they did for me and the personable experience I know I would not have gotten anywhere else. I highly, highly recommend!!!!
