He does everything, even before you go to court. He gives you things that help you, even if you prove you're speeding. He tells you to get a speeding ticket, do volunteer work, and study online. Short story: I was driving on route 113 south Accomack county in April '25 during spring break. At around 11.30pm, I got pulled over and got a reckless driving ticket for driving at 73 / 45. I hired Peter Louie firm as my attorneys. The charge was reduced to improper driving. I paid a total of around $375 fine (all inclusive). I can't be any more happy about the outcome! Long story: Who am I: Immigrant in the US for 25+ years, NJ resident, works in IT, lives with family, no criminal history ever, no speeding tickets ever, no traffic violations in the last 5 years, never stepped into a court of law, ever Why Peter Louie Law Firm: I spoke with more than 10-15 law firms for two months after the incident. I evaluated the law firms based on general Google reviews, similarity with my case, success stories, Avvo lawyer reviews, consulting with every single law firm and speaking with specific attorneys. I made a spreadsheet/rubric based on the info I got from each and finally looked at the law firm costs. Peter Louie law firm is expensive in terms of cost. They charged around $800 (per one representation). However, here are my reasons to choose Peter: They have excellent law firm reviews on Google They seem to have a lot of success with my type of cases (based on the reviews) Reviews on individual attorneys like Mr.Carroll and Mr.Louie are outstanding After my free consultation with Mr.Carroll, I got to know the most about the process compared to other firms. Both Mr.Carroll and Mr.Louie are knowledgeable and thorough about these matters. I got to know that there are two courts involved.. lower one called the circuit court and the next up called appeals court. I also got to know about the judges and their tendencies towards these types of cases I got to know about my chances of success in the lower court.. which was 50% I went back and forth with Mr.Carroll and their paralegals regarding many other questions after the free consultation. I always got a very prompt and clear response from them Above all, I felt assured and felt the chances of settling this in lower court is a likely possibility After constant communication with them, I felt that the lawyers also have the same goal as me, to close this out in the lower court In spite of all these reasons, I had not signed the retainer with them although I had mostly made up my mind. I kept checking and talking with several other attorneys to see how they respond to my questions. After almost one month of back and forth, I finally signed the retainer with Mr.Carroll. After I signed the retainer, I did everything that Mr.Carroll & Mr.Louie asked me to do. I took the safe driving course. I ordered a certified copy of my NJ driver's license - full history and 5 year history. Court date was originally scheduled in August but was pushed out by another 3-4 weeks because of broken A/C in the court. Overall, the whole experience was nerve wracking because I have never been in such a situation!! It's utter ridiculous and meaningless!! Thanks to Peter Louie Law firm, it's over!! I read so many reviews in general, online, about attorney law firms. Do your own due diligence regardless of what you read and what you hear. Try to look for similarities with your specific case and the specific outcomes in the reviews. Most reviews also didn't mention if the most desirable outcome was achieved in the lower court or in the appeals court.. which is a very important consideration. Good luck!
