My cousin is a victim of domestic violence and went in for a consultation seeking legal advice in a child custody dispute. She was degraded and belittled by the attorney who blamed her for the abuse she endured. Completely unprofessional. I don't know how someone can practice family law with such little understanding of how domestic violence affects victims.
