I believe I was lied to and deceived about our agreement. You better get your agreement in writing. Additional note added February 20, 2026 about Billy's reply that he never represented me. Billy I paid you $2500.00 to represent me when THP officer Marrion bullied and arrested me. Our agreement was for you to represent me and to pursue him for misconduct. You didn't do a single thing to pursue him. I should have reported you to the bar association. It hurt bad to have to come up with that $2500.00, but I did because I felt your distain for him that you would follow through and you so casually screwed me. You're despicable as far as I am concerned. So this review will stay here forever.

Horrible attorney with a horrible paralegal named Wendy. Both Billy and Wendy are the most unprofessional people that practice law I have ever come across. I have them on a recording trying to coerce someone into signing something they shouldn’t even after repeatedly saying that they don’t feel comfortable signing without a lawyer. They were rude and made up lies and understated income. I have proof they both participated in attorney misconduct and legal malpractice. I will be taking them to court and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE USING THEM. They are shady and hopefully lose their liscense soon.

I was having trouble getting assistance when I reached out to William Gribble. He answers my call quickly and took a half hour of his time to listen to my needs and run through the different scenarios of possibilities and the process I was inquiring about. He was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to communicate with me when I couldn’t even get others to answer the phone. William talked me through a process that I was able to do on my own rather than suggesting I pay unnecessary fees that would only take advantage of me. I will definitely be using William again in the future when time comes. His attentiveness and consideration and knowledge is top-notch and much appreciated!

Highly recommend the law office of William (Billy) Gribble. The duo of Billy and his paralegal Wendy Lowe are a force to be reckoned with. They are very Responsive and communicative. I got an immediate call back with same day consultation. My custody court date was only days away and they rearranged their schedule to accommodate this last minute case. Immediately responded to all my calls and texts messages. They are very compassionate and knowledgeable. Wendy went above and beyond from start to finish making sure they were prepared and that I understood every step of the process. Billy was a beast in the court room and made the other party look like a complete imbecile. I'm blessed to have been able to have them by my side throughout my case. My case was won and full custody of my 8 year old daughter was returned to me and I will forever be thankful.

Was referred by family.. seems to be a nice guy but it took a week to get a response back. Set an appointment to meet in person. Drove 60 min round trip to be no showed. No call or anything. He later called to apologize, he got help up in court, no problem. Set a time for a zoom call.. nothing.. again with no notice. Got held up again, called to apologize again said he’d call me as soon as he got out of his meeting. That was the last I heard. I can’t speak to his skill in front of the judge… but scheduling, follow through, and communication definitely need improvement.

I've known Billy for years, he's fair, and honest and tells you exactly how it is. He doesn't sugarcoat anything, if he doesn't think you have a leg to stand on, he will tell you.

Hired for an order of protection. He was very up front about costs and what chances I may have had. First court date was reset and second, I overslept. When I contacted him, he told me it was dismissed and costs charged to the other party. This made my day! Definitely recommend Mr. Gribble for any of your legal needs. He was great!

Let me first state bill gribble made a mess of mine and my ex's divorce. Luckily he was not my lawyer but my ex wife's. Because of his hero complex rather then try and be fair he caused us a lot of headaches to this day. He was unprepared and thought he was going to just win by stating false accusations with no articulated proof. Took my ex on her word and got destroyed all of what he tried and countered with actual facts that changed the outcome. He miss represented her and she was mad she lost and went with another lawyer. Fortunately her and I figured things out and moving forward we thought we had corrected his garbage. Well almost 3 years later I'm having to pay to fix more of his mess because he left us with tons of issues, gray areas and more in the plan he set up. No times for anything other than holiday drop offs and only holidays he added for mandatory swaps were Thanksgiving and Christmas but everything else fell under Day to Day schedule. This incompetent lawyer cost us 2500 for the original plan now is costing his ex client probably 3k to 5k before we figure all of his garbage out. If you want a good lawyer in Maryville area chose Jim Snyder. Worth every penny but definitely not cheap. Also during our zoom meeting with the judge he never paid for his subscription and it timed out and was a hot mess as well. Wasting more time to setup another meeting and having us added to that one. I recommend for all the people you represent either you focus on one at a time so you get it right or hang up the jacket. You are screwing your clients 😔

He is a must have for anyone.he is very knowledged and good at what he does very polite easy to talk to and is very honest DO NOT GO BY SOME OF HIS REVIEWS THAT ARE NEGATIVE TOWARDS HIM! they are just angry folks on the opposite side. he wouldve helped them if they would have chose him as their lawyer. take his negative comments as a compliment towards him it means he did his job well!
