Debra Simms had set up a trust for me a few years ago. I went back to her to make some changes to the trust and to my will. She asked me what I wanted to accomplish and then proceeded to advise me as to the best way to go about making these changes. Everyone I dealt with in her office has been very professional and I would highly recommend Attorney Simms.

The receptionist and attorney are very unprofessional. After waiting weeks for the appointment we were called and asked to cancel and reschedule in another 2 weeks. When we finally arrived we waited more than 30 minutes and when we inquired how much longer, we were made to feel like we were rude for asking. Then, the attorney was rude and very disrespectful to my father. She spoke down to him and belittled him for asking questions and the need for clarification. This is not the treatment my father deserves. We got up and walked out!

My wife and I wanted to make sure all that we had worked for would go to our daughter without any problems. We found Debra Simms from a friend and set up a meeting. I had some idea of what legal documents we needed. I had no idea what was necessary for a smooth transition for our daughter if we passed away unexpectedly. Debra Simms explained and listed what was necessary to make it easy for our daughter. She provided printed docs that were easy to comprehend and then emailed us a copy of all the legal papers we needed. We checked them for names, dates, etc before meeting for the signing and notarizing of more documents that we had ever seen. We were very happy with the lawyer we had chosen. A very nice lady.

I am writing to make a formal complaint against Debra Simms. She was hired to excute a Will and Trust for my aunt and showed no compassion, empathy or interest on her dying days. We reached out several times to Ms Simms for help when my aunt quickly declined in her health . We were expecting at a minimum for her to guide us through this process only to realize that was not her interest or priority. She refused to go out of her way in any manner to make this a smooth transition. Her demeanor in speaking with me was belittling, egotistical, and indifferent of my aunts needs. I am writing this in the hopes that no one else has to experience a crisis like ours with a heartless attorney. .

Highest of recommendation. Attorney Simms is exceptional! We felt she was honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable, sincere, and kind. We are truly grateful to her and her staff for the services she provided in a way that gave us peace of mind and comfort.
