The first thing that I'd like to say is Ed is genuinely a great person. When you think of a lawyer, you think of $$, but Ed is far from that. Ed has helped me and my family on many occasions. The first time Ed helped my family it was close to 15 yrs ago when my husband got into a car accident. I remember him coming out to the hospital to visit my husband to see how his condition was. There were some complications with my husband’s case but Ed did his best to get my husband what he could for his injuries. On top of that, he didn't collect any fees from my husband because he knew how much my husband needed the money. This isn't something you can say many attorney's do. He put in a lot of work to help my husband and at the end, told us he wasn't going to charge us anything for his help and all we had to pay for were paperwork fees that were charged by outside parties. Since then, anytime anyone has needed legal advice or help, I've always referred them to Ed Casey. Ed also helped my aunt and uncle settle a case with the city after they lost all of their children in an extremely tragic car accident. He helped them through the process and enlisted other legal partners to help my aunt and uncle reach a large settlement. He helped make the process as painless as possible for them as they were already in so much pain grieving the loss of their children. My experience with Ed each time has always been great and positive. He is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. Ed called me within 1 hour after talking to his assistant . On our first call Ed listened, he asked questions, and listened some more! It was a very uncomfortable call but I somehow felt very safe with sharing my experience to Ed. He was genuine when he talked and this was during a very terrible time in my life! When I met Ed face to face, again I was so happy I found him. His office was very inviting and comfortable. Ed was so open, honest and very professional about my case and explaining all that could happen in a case like mine. He also was very upfront and said that he specialized in personal injury however wanted to extend his services to my situation! I was with the right attorney, I knew it! When the time came for my deposition, Ed prepared me for how the other attorney would "treat me"! He spent his time getting me as comfortable as possible and it was very difficult! I want to tell you all MOST of all how Ed Defended me during that deposition! He was so knowledgeable and protective and didn't allow the other attorney to bully me AT ALL! I had to answer very hard and uncomfortable questions but from the beginning Ed had prepared me and I came out of that deposition feeling so thankful that I was able to tell the truth and that the other side knew it!! Ed even said, after the deposition, "Go rest, you're gonna knock out tonight!" And he was right! When Ed discussed all the outcomes and what he expected, I was perplexed because I wanted my abusers to pay big! Ed never pushed me into making a decision and allowed me to ask questions and discussed outcome etc until I was comfortable with my decision on how to proceed! We did well, super close to how Ed predicted we would! Today, we closed this case & this chapter of my life. The whole process was approximately 14 months and I am very, very pleased and so Thankful!
