I had a clean record, no tickets in the last 17 years. I can't understand how I ended up with point on my license. I don't recommend this lawyer.

Paid Joe Whittington and the agency that hired him $1,000 to proceed to trial on my ticket, instead he walked into court and pleaded no contest and got me convicted then had the nerve to tell me "there was too much evidence". I could have pleaded no contest myself and saved $1,000. Sad thing is, these agencies will continue to send him our money. He'll layup the easy cases and not waste his time on cases like mine where he might actually have to do some work.

Not good, not recommended

I hired Mr. Whittington's office to represent me for a traffic ticket I received while traveling that I could not appear for myself. Initially his office was very friendly, he spent several minutes on the phone discussing my situation and they were consistent in following up with me to confirm if I would like to retain them and for my $600 payment. After paying and securing the representation, there was minimal communication as my case was postponed several times. After the actual hearing, I did receive a lengthy email outlining what was done and the results of the case. They were about what I expected to happen. However it did leave me with several questions about making the fine payment and traffic school. I sent emails and have left messages since December 10th. Given it was the holidays I was patient in expecting a reply. But it is now January 25th and I still haven't received a response. While the results were what I expected, the cost of the representation was about the cost of the initial fine. Given that I had paid so much, I don't feel it is expecting too much to receive guidance following the results of the hearing. This is not a common scenario for me, so I don't know if this is standard practice for an attorney in this situation. But as a consumer, I am disappointed with the lack of client service and professionalism after the payment was received. I just expected more for $600.

Represented! Joe got done all I could as for in my case. Bottom line, I was deceptively charged for going a speed which was over the posted limit. Joe defended me in court and ensured that the truth prevailed. In a day and age where truth and integrity is so hard to come by, he enhanced my faith in the justice system proving that there are still times when truth wins over lies! His contact was consistent and was always available for my questions and answered them in an understandable way. Following my case (which I did not personally attend) he emailed me a full description of the directives made by the court in my case and provided an explanation for how it came about. I appreciate Joe and his team in representing me to what I felt was the fullest of their abilities. I encourage others to partner with them if the circumstance arises needing defense. There's certain people you would rather not see very often because it typically means life isn't going as planned (doctors,police officers, attorneys) but, if I do somehow need defense in traffic court; Joe is my guy!! Worst lawyer I've hired, I paid $600 to be found guilty! Might as well showed up to court on my own and plead my case. I asked the receptionist to have Joe call me back numerous times, he didn't call back. All in all Don't even bother hiring the idiot 💯

These people know their job. They dismissed my 2 point traffic violation. I was driving 114 mph on my way to Arizona from San Francisco. I was caught by radar of CHP. Today thanks to these people I have a clean driving record. Thank you again.

Joe does great work. He's one of the better DUI, traffic, and criminal defense attorneys in the state. I've seen the results he gets for his clients and I would absolutely recommend him.
