I cant say enough about the professionalism and knowledge about Brett Johnson and his team. He was referred to us by a friend for a workers compensation issue we had. After months of preparation and back and forth we were successful in our case due to Brett's perseverance.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. If anyone has ever been thrown into a family court matter, the county system is chaotic. I was sent Carin's information as their highest recommendation by individuals who have knowledge of this realm of the court system, and I am so so happy that we listened to them. Carin is extremely knowledgeable of the law, as well as the court system and it's nuances. This is invaluable when navigating how to respond or when to push. Having her represent me in the court room was always reassuring. Carin is also very personable and kind. This process of going through family court was emotional and terrifying to say the least, but having Carin there to help talk me through the process and our plan, or giving me a call when she could sense I just needed some reassurance got me through it. I cant speak about her knowledge or work, because she never bothered to keep her word to call me back. I contacted Carin a few weeks ago regarding a case and she was very responsive initially. Upon talking to her on the phone, I repeatedly told her I was in a very desperate situation and also told her I would pay her through selling my vehicle. But she didn’t seem interested. She said she does not drive to my residing county , yet in her website, it clearly states she does take surrounding Counties and she knew the supervising judge immediately when I asked her if she knew the name. It appears she will only help people who she believes have a minimum income and social class. She never gave me the chance and clearly made a judgement that I wasn’t worthy or able to pay her, despite the fact that I was , until yesterday when I attempted to try to get a call back from her, fully prepared to pay her- even before she began any case as retainer. It’s hurtful because she assured me she would call me to follow up by end of that week. I even asked her if she was going to actually call back and she said yes. But she never kept her word. She hasn’t even had the decency to return any of the few messages I left for her. This was by far the part that brought me to write this review. The fact that she assured she’d follow up, and then can’t keep her word nor return a simple call.

Carin Johnson agreed to take my case when no one else would, the issue I had was such a gray area and after years of searching for someone, Carin Agreed to help me, but was honest enough to explain that this was a very, very difficult situation, I wanted to write this review because Carin is an accomplished attorney, but more than that I appreciate The genuinely decent good human being. She is, and the empathy she shows for each individual situation is something that is hard to find, her associate attorney Bianca is also very good at what she does.

Peter was the sole reason that a criminal DUI case against me was dismissed. From the instant I had contact with the police, I was on the defensive despite not having done anything wrong. The police officer arrested me unfairly, without reading me my rights and without telling me that FSTs and PAS tests were all optional. Additionally, I was treated like an animal when having to give blood samples. All of this to stack the deck against me. Peter handled everything and ensured that the DA at the county where I was arrested had nothing to work with. He brought the relevant expert witnesses to testify the poor and unhygienic conditions that my blood sample was taken. In the end, I had a DUI with multiple enhancements reduced down to a simple speeding ticket. Thank you Peter for your help during this difficult time, I could not have made it without your help. The kindest smartest honest attorney in bay by far

I was emailing Jesse, sent him all my court information and he never got back to me. Called the office and they told me they would give my case to Carin, who I also sent everything to and all she did was ask for my phone number, which I sent and I never received a call or email or anything. Just a big waste of time. I was really trying to retain them since I read good reviews. I just had a bad experience with communication with them.

I was pulled over by CHP back in 2017 after cutting off a driver who had been going too slow in the left lane. The officer asked me if I had consumed any drinks that evening, and I answered truthfully -- yes, but I had stopped 4 hours ago. The "yes" was only the answer he was looking for, and I was forced out of my car for field sobriety testing. The officer administered the tests multiple times until he was satisfied that he had a result he could exploit, then placed me into the back of his patrol vehicle and hauled me off to county jail. When I was released the next day, I asked my attorney friends for recommendations for a good DUI attorney. When I explained the nuances of my arrest and the ramifications of a potential DUI conviction on my career to the recommended attorneys, several of them referred me to the person they said they would want to represent themselves: Peter Johnson. I scheduled an appointment and met with Peter a day or two later. He then got to work, and oh man, did he do a good job. The field test results were thrown out by the judge because they were found to be improperly obtained. The blood tests were also suspect, as the DA's office had their lab test them five (!!) times, with varying results each time. Their own lab director refused to testify to the veracity of the results, which is just mind boggling. Peter said that he would fight for me, and fight he did: my case was recently settled to my satisfaction. I hope that you do not need his services, but if you do, give him a call. You will not regret it.
