When our dear cousin, a resident of the Bronx, passed away at age 94, she had no relatives apart from cousins and their adult children. She had created a will using a generic computer program and had it witnessed and notarized, with the intent of taking it to a law firm to have a proper will drawn up, but she passed away before she had that opportunity. Thank goodness we retained the Law Offices of Joseph A. Marra, where we have been receiving excellent service in processing our cousin's very complicated estate. At the very beginning, Mr. Marra gave us a clear understanding of what legal steps had to occur to move the process through the probate court, and the potential issues that might arise. Throughout the entire process, attorney Jennifer Fredeman has done an outstanding job of taking us each step of the way as the court reviewed the computer-made will and mandated that certain steps take place before it successfully made it through probate. Jennifer kept in constant communication with us and explained each step in a way that was easy to understand; her knowledge, kindness and consideration helped to educate us on the whole probate process and kept stress to a minimum. Jennifer is simply awesome! It is very likely that the estate will be fully settled later this year, and if I can give anyone two pieces of advice, it would be: ONE: If you've created a computer-generated will of your own, be sure to bring it to a law firm to have a proper will drawn up, and TWO: I would highly recommend the Law Offices of Joseph A, Marra for that; they are excellent!

Hello Cheryl:<br><br>We’re sorry to see your one‑star rating and disappointed to hear that your experience with our office did not meet your expectations. <br><br>We reviewed our files and saw that you came into our office nearly a year ago. Before you came into the office, we sent you an email with two checklists and our e-book, along with the minimum pricing. <br><br>We had a consultation. You signed an agreement that spelled out what we were going to do and the pricing for the same. <br><br>It was explained to you, and it is written in the agreement, that we would not prepare anything until you paid the agreed-upon balance. You paid what was owed up to that point, and we never heard from you again. As a result, we did not prepare any of the recommended documents.<br><br>Now, after nearly a year, you posted a one-star review with no explanation.<br><br>We’d truly appreciate the opportunity to understand what went wrong and how we can make things right. <br><br>If you’re open to it, please contact our office directly so we can discuss your concerns in more detail. <br><br>Your feedback matters, and we’re committed to improving.

What can I say. Probably the same thing others have said already. Mr. Marry is a judge and a lawyer. That in itself gave me confidence that I was getting the best of care. One must have confidence these days in whoever is performing work for you, whether in law or car repair, or in any area where you spend money on something of high quality value. After talking with a few attorneys that appeared confident, I had the gut feeling that Mr. Marra, who I call Judge Marra when I visit him, is the best choice for my needs. And believe me, as a former business consultant for several governments and international companies, as an accountant I am careful where I spend my money. Even I can get burned. I have already recommended Judge Marra to neighbors and will continue to recommend him. And my word is gold, if you knew me. I don't recommend just anyone; not at 69 years old.
