Amazing, very smart lawyer!

I AM THE SINGLE MOM WHO WAS TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY K. DEVANEY. Let me start by saying: stay 100 miles away from this man and his office!!! My experience with him was nothing short of a nightmare. I turned to him for legal help during an incredibly challenging time, believing he could be trusted. However, his actions soon proved otherwise. At one point, I needed him to do me a favor and act as my representative to guarantee a certain amount of money so I could secure housing. Ken assured me that transferring a large sum of money into his personal account was a safe and practical option. He was paid $5,000 for this task, and I trusted him to handle the funds responsibly. However, shortly after the transfer, he arrived with a brand-new Mercedes, which immediately raised my suspicions. When I later requested official bank statements to see how he was handling my money, he failed to provide them. Eventually, when I demanded the remaining funds be returned, he handed me a check that was $18,000 short. Despite having all the receipts and evidence, he blatantly lied about the accuracy of the amount. This was nothing less than theft, exploiting the trust I placed in him as my lawyer. To make matters worse, when I reported him to the ARDC and provided all the evidence, he retaliated by exposing personal details he was professionally obligated to keep confidential. Instead of addressing the issue, he used those details to deflect blame and paint me as the problem. This was a disgusting and unethical move from someone whose job is to uphold the law and protect their clients. Ken Devaney is not someone you can trust. His actions were deceptive, manipulative, and entirely self-serving. He exploited my vulnerable position and failed to fulfill his professional and ethical duties. If you’re considering hiring him, DON’T. Protect yourself and your loved ones from someone who has no respect for ethical boundaries or the trust placed in him as a lawyer.
