My husband and I have worked with Mike Gorman for over a decade. From buying our home to more recent estate planning and he’s been a consistent, trustworthy resource every time. What I appreciate most is that he’s incredibly knowledgeable but also approachable. Legal conversations can sometimes feel intimidating, but Mike has a calm, no pressure way of explaining things that makes you feel at ease. We’re grateful to have him in our corner and will continue recommending him to friends and family.

Find another review which was listed on the avvo.com website for Mr. Gorman from another reviewer on in June 2024 which is below my original post which has been rated with 4 thumbs up. My review The attorney was performing services for us he was slow to respond to committed actions sometimes taking several days to respond with some required actions resulting in being incomplete. We would absolutely not recommend his services although his paralegal Janet was an effective professional. I use a pseudonym on my email address for general privacy and you certainly did provide poor service. Update 5/9/24 The above comments were based on my previous experience with Mr. Gorman for estate probate and real estate transactions and if you do a search of lowest Google ratings you will see that others have had the same level of poor service with timeliness, communications, and work completion over the past year. Be careful if you hire this lawyer. His paralegal Janet was excellent but he will make promises to contact you and then he could ignore you consistently and followup could not be timely and the work could be incomplete. After consulting with the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers, I ultimately made the decision to fire him. I met with Michael in April to prepare some estate planning docs. My first warning sign should have been the complete appearance of disarray in his office, which is a room in a strip mall. My second warning sign should have been when he entered the room and sat down and asked me what I wanted without even introducing himself. After a cordial meeting, he asked me to give him a few weeks to get back to me with a draft. After hearing nothing, no calls, no emails, nothing, for 6 weeks, I decided to call his office. After placing several calls over a period of weeks and leaving messages with his paralegal each time, I finally reached him. He said he had been sick the week before and would send me drafts later that day. Nothing was sent. I left more messages over a period of weeks. It has been nine+ weeks now and Michael has called me zero times and sent zero emails to me. Highly unprofessional and unresponsive. I really cannot believe this attorney has 97% positive reviews. I might have given him 2 or 3 stars if he did ANY work for me but I have received absolutely nothing from him.

Michael was quick to schedule with and work with. He addressed all our needs in a quick and thorough fashion.

Mr. Gorman was nothing but professional and courteous; he worked quickly and thoroughly to help us update and make important additions regarding estate planning. We will certainly be utilizing his services the next time we need anything and highly recommend to others.

Hi Mike, I have no choice, but write you here to get your attention. I have been working with Janet trying to solve my issue. first, she is not very responsive. After few years working with her, her last response is that I need to talk to you as this matter is out of her hand. I have been asking her to get me appointment with you for the past few months. No response, she asked me to email you. I said, I don't have his email can you please share his email. NO response back. I have send her several messages. I called you, and left you message, no response back. I need to talk to you. I need to know how many more years I need to wait so that you guys can solve the issue I am facing. 3 years are no short time. I get it, we were in covid, you were out of the office, but 3 years. is long enough time. I would appreciate reply back with schedule appointment. thanks deep

I used my MetLife Legal Plan to find an attorney who would help us set up an estate. Went in on May 12, 2023 ...and now almost 4 months later, I am still waiting for the work to be completed. I am not sure it has even been started. Attorney Gorman has not returned my calls or answered my emails. Time to move on to another lawyer!
