DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER! I repeat do not use Neil Patel. I recommend looking for another lawyer before hiring him. I hired Neil Patel to defend my case and he insisted I plead guilty and take what the state offered me even before he could do any homework on my case. I would get harassed with phone calls from his assistant asking when could I make a payment more than any (if any) phone calls I would get from him regarding my case. Seemed like his firm concentrated on everyone making payments before the case could be over. It also seemed like he took on a lot of cases for the money instead of sincerely helping people. He’s arrogant and thinks he’s the best lawyer in Joliet. I ended up firing him and hired a new lawyer and my new lawyer got my case dismissed. Neil Patel was a waste of time and money. Think twice before hiring him.
