This Outstanding Law Firm is the Wichita Municipal Court's Public Defender for the City of Wichita and is, without doubt, the BEST group of Municipal Court Public Defenders I have EVER encountered, bar none! I've been called to a lifetime of Jail & Prison Ministry the past 60+ years. Working with those sometimes victimized by the Prison-Industrial System that profits from exploiting, economically enslaving at times, the formerly incarcerated or wrongfully convicted of even petty crimes, I have worked with MANY Public Defenders in Courts in a number of Cities in several States and a few Canadian Provinces. These guys are caring, honest and trustworthy. They will represent you faithfully, fully and honestly if you're in the right, and try to get you the fairest result if you're guilty as sin, and want honestly to try to get right with the Law. But don't expect ANY Lawyer to lie for you, or defend you fully if you lie TO them or the Court.
First time I went in, during walk in hours, Pat Harris told me that nobody was there except for her. The second time I went in, Pat was extremely rude and condescending towards me and made me wait in a separate lobby from their lobby. I overheard her talking to one of the attorneys and she was poking fun at me. Then I went in to see Mr. Mueller. This was even more of a nightmare. He stated multiple times that he did not care about my case. He then turned me away because he didn’t care about my case. After the fact, he gave me the card to another attorney. I was in the process of calling that attorney in the building. He then told me that I need to leave. Didn’t give me a reason, just told me that I needed to leave. (This building is shared with multiple other businesses and the “lobby” is the common area for all the businesses.)
Wouldn’t rely on them. I tried to go in for a walk-in appointment, during the posted times, and there was nobody but reception there. She said that were are no attorneys available at the time. I can’t imagine having walk in hours and you not being available at all…
They never follow thru when asked to visit clients in person while incarcerated. They laugh about their clients in court with the probation officer too!! They don't care about the people they are SUPPOSED to help! If I could give a negative star I would! VERY unprofessional.
Pretty good advice given Careful what time you get her because you could end up waiting for a couple of hours. Got here at 9 am and am still waiting as of 11am.
This is the place where my court-appointed attorney works. It looks nicer on the inside. Allegedly.
They take care of a large caseload and do it fast and efficiently
Still no response… wonder if he has backyard buddies that tell him what, where, how he goes about his clients.. because he doesn’t get back with them and hear them..
My court appointed attorney from there and he as honest with me about the outcome, coulda been mad at him for doing county time, but in reality..its my own fault..good experience.
As long as we communicate as a attorney representing a client basic.. Lord willing ,the Lord's will be done..
Very helpful.
