After interviewing a few family law attorneys I met Tom and chose to hire him based on his expansive knowledge of the divorce process and my initial impression that he was honest and trustworthy. True to that impression, I had the privilege of working with someone that made one of the most challenging and painful times in my life far more bearable because of his ability to provide sounds advice, kindness, compassion, and excellent judgement. Despite the divorce process being challenging Tom handled every part of it with professionalism and thoughtfulness. When Tom says he is going to do something, he gets it done right away which helped to reduce my stress and ultimately the costs of his services. In the end, Tom guided me toward what I think was a fair and amicable resolution. As far as compensation, I think Tom is very fair. He was always working toward an amicable solution as quickly as possible which in the end mitigated the possibility of a drawn out divorce process that could have been far more costly. I had the pleasure of working with Tom on a serious custody case, laden with complex issues and no path to reconciliation in sight. I have worked with a few different divorce attorneys, and I haven't seen his equal in terms of knowing the system, experience with crafting court orders, or preparing for days in court. He provided me with excellent counsel to get me and my family the result that we have long deserved, but could not find a path to. I will be recommending my friends or family should they be so unfortunate as to end up in court, because there is nothing worse than needing to go back yet again because of poor representation.
