I have recently hired Attorney Gillen to represent me in the chapter 7 bankruptcy process. I met with him for the consultation, on July 10, 2024, and was immediately impressed by his down to earth, personable demeanor. I felt like was at the end of my rope, with the law firm Stanzel and Niederman breathing down my neck, trying to get me to submit to their will, threatening to take every dollar I had saved for my family, for their millionaire, and billionaire, corporate friends. Five year old debt that had become excessively hard for myself to pay after the COVID-19 pandemic, with unforgivable million, and billion dollar corporations, that simply DID NOT care about anything other than getting their money, had simply become unmanageable. With nothing to lose, I contacted William M. Gillem (who will tell you straight up to just call him Bill). After briefly speaking with Bill's paralegal Gail, who listened to my concerns with great empathy, I was transferred over to Bill, who not only treated me like a human being, but upon hearing my concerns from me personally, reassured me that I was not the only American who was alone regarding this, but that I also, had other options of which creditors who just "want your money", would be happier that I didn't know about. Now to be clear, everybody has a different situation with its own complexities, so my situation may not be exactly everybody else's. One thing to note that Bill will tell you right upfront, is that there is no one size fits all solution for everybody. Bill not only looked over my situation with a fine tooth comb, and configured the best route for me to take, but brought me along with him, educated me, and made sure that I knew exactly what was going on, and why the option that he proposed, would be the best option for me, based on my situation. Bill has an extensive knowledge of the federal codes', which are ANYTHING, but simple, but he is able to break them down for the average human being in Lehman's terms so that you understand the process and what is going on, as well as the possible hurdles that one may face. One major thing that is greatly appreciated, is that Bill stays with you 100%, every step of the way, whatever the length of time may be. My situation has ended up being MUCH more in my favor than I had originally anticipated, ever since sitting back, and letting Bill steer the ship for awhile, I have been VERY impressed with the work that Bill and his firm have done for me. Bill was absolutely amazing during the whole process.
