Contacted them via email about a speeding violation in Pinellas county. Have yet to hear back from them. I guess they don’t care about potential clients. Hired another law firm instead where my money will go to good use. If they don’t even answer a citizens inquiry, I cannot imagine there services.

I'm giving 5 stars but only because there is not an option for 10 stars! I was referred to The Law Place by another attorney who I had been referred to. He could not help me b/c he was in a different county, so he gave me the number for The Law Place. He gave them high praise and said he was leaving me on their capable hands. And sure enough! They were MORE than capable! I worked mostly with Jennifer and she was very professional but was also warm and personable! She was also very organized, helpful and communicative, always making sure I had what I needed in a timely manner. She was patient with my questions and stayed in contact with me through the whole process. She put me at ease from the first conversation! In fact, ANYONE I talked to at The Law Place was always very kind, professional and helpful! They followed through with everything they said they would do and I was never left in the dark about anything throughoutthe entire process! I was in the final stage of completing my ignition interlock requirement when I accidentally missed a required breath test by just a few seconds, which triggered a violation. The State never notified me properly — I did not receive a letter at all. The only reason I even found out was because I happened to have a DMV appointment three days later to remove the IID restriction, where I was suddenly told my license was about to be cancelled. Even then, no one at the DMV could tell me what to do next. My court case had already been closed months earlier, so the court could not help, and the Motor Vehicle Division kept referring me to different departments with no clear path forward. It felt like I was trapped inside a bureaucratic black hole with no way to fix something that wasn’t even my fault. I called The Law Office and spoke with Stephen Higgins. Even though he was not my attorney and this was no longer a court matter, he took the time to step in and actually help. He explained what the state was doing, identified where the process was breaking down, and pointed me to the exact DUI program steps I needed to take to stop the cancellation of my license. Without his guidance, I would have had no idea how to navigate this broken system in time. His willingness to help when no one else would made a real difference in a very stressful situation. I wish I could have found him earlier for my actual case, but I would recommend him to anybody if you ever happen to make the unfortunate choice to drive under the influence and be charged with it.

Stephen answered the phone when we initially called about a DUI case for our family member. He continued to keep all of us updated and informed through the process. Jennifer’s rapid, caring and thoughtful responses to our questions was reassuring. We never felt like “just another case.” They really cared.

I can't say enough about the support I received. Literally, called on Tuesday at 430 and spoke with Stephen and Jennifer about my case. They had me totally at ease within minutes for a criminal traffic stop due to my ignorance of the law. I never felt like they didn't have complete control of the situation.
