Great Day! This guy is on point! He is easy to talk to, straight to the point, professional, and gets the job done! Got me results way better than I expected! I will use him anytime I can in the future from now on, and I will suggest to anyone else they should use him. The whole process was fantastic, from the girls in the office to the final countdown. I was kept in the loop, never had to wonder or call, every question was answered before I thought to ask it! They will take care of you!

You will always read bad reviews on any website for any service but keep in mind there are things that cannot be disclosed when someone leaves a bad review for an attorney. You hear the reviewers side of the story when I can guarantee there is more to the story and due to confidentiality the attorney cannot comment. Mr. McGhee represented me in my divorce. I talked to him the first day I visited his office for an evaluation. Then, I didn't talk to him again until mediation. It was at this time, sitting in mediation, that he actually looked over my case and stated that I could be getting a lot more. That would have been helpful months prior. Overall, I got the feeling he had better things to do.

I’ve seen Shawn in the court room several times. He’s the best lawyer in this part of the country. Judges listen and other lawyers fear his results. He should be on national TV. He’s well versed and his presentation is amazing. He wins a high margin of his cases. If you could hear him in court you would see why.

I hired Mr McGhee to represent me I had never been in a situation like this before so I trusted him. He charged me $10000 that I paid in payment. Mr McGhee kept me out of the court system long enough to get him paid off. There was hardly any communication between us the entire time I was out. Every court docket that I had he told me I didn't have to worry about going to he would handle it. The day I went to court he convinced me to take the stand and plead guilty he said it was better to take a little time than a lot of time which led me to 120 year sentence. on 3 class B felony and 1class C felony I felt like he did nothing to help me. Please be careful. Don't make the same mistake I did. This man does not care about what's best for his clients. I was represented very poorly and hope no one else has to go through this.

This firm took 3700 from me to get false accusations dismissed from my wife who suffers from a personality disorder. Also shared ustody of kids because she is out of control. I have videos 4 hrs worth of her behavior, voicemails, my children will dispute what she's saying. She has hallucinations but judge Lewis said she looked fine to him. Also in comes McGhee who filed in wrong court I guess because Lewis told him to file elsewhere. He did an somehow got me custody without me going to court. Weird right, yeah I thought so too. It lasted 4 days. My wife called from bham for a lawyer who went to same judge and got custody back over the phone. McGhee didn't fight it or nothing. When I said I didn't want to drive them all the way they should come get them like I had to. 50/50 right. Well McGhee , who wouldn't talk to me personally had his para legal tell me he was dropping g me as a client and only returned 1300 of my money. Thief , liar, and seems like scared of other attorneys. I paid a daily average of 500 per day to keep my kids those few days. I made them call their mom every night . They left Wednesday and I have had no contact again. They through away the cell phone I bought my daughter along with the 490 in clothes I bought. Run from this firm if you love your family a, especially if your innocent. McGhee didn't want to dispose my daughter who wanted to say her mom was not the se person she used to be. My only witness and he wouldn't talk to her . Run away save your family. Look at my children Shaun 1 year and counting. Justice will be served one way or another. Remember their faces.

Got arrested for weed. absurd that we're still bothering people for that, but anyways. Applied for pre-trial diversion, D.A.'s office denied my application because I'd done the program 2 or 3 times before, I appealed their decision & hired Shaun immediately in the hopes he could help me get into the pre-trial program. a month later I got a note from the court saying the judge decided to approve my appeal. I completed the pre-trial program & have no charges on my record today. thanks Shaun

Mr. McGee lied to Judge Derrick in order to get me custody for 4 days then he withdrew from my case and it cost me over 2,000 dollars. He actually made things worse for my family. Run away from this firm, he wasn't even man enough to tell me himself had his para legal do it over the phone. He's a chump, a liar and thief. Stay away from him.

I would like to start my review off mentioning how helpful and professional this law firm is. Courtney the paralegal did an outstanding job keeping me up to date with all court notices and Shawn the attorney kept his word on how this case would go. Without a doubt this is one of the best law firms in Dothan and would highly recommend Shawn and his services to anyone.
