Cooley, I personally apologize that you didn't feel heard. We sometimes see cases we can't take and know that soon after talking with someone. The cases we can take are limited. We also recognize you suffered from your losses. We apologize that you feel we didn't counsel you further so you understood why we couldn't take the case. We provide excellent communication with our current and former clients but also want to make sure prospective clients know why, if we can not take a case. If we can't take a case, we can't offer a full opinion on it, nor do we want potential clients to be discouraged. Nevertheless, we want all potential clients to feel heard and to know why we can't take a particular case if we can not. We handle limited kinds of cases in certain practice areas, so I don't want you to be discouraged. I encourage you to look further and still have faith. We will do better explaining the limits on what we can take to potential clients in the future. Your comments remind us to do the very best to counsel potential clients during the intake process.
