I could not recommend Lou Montone (The Montone Law Firm) more highly if you are in need of an employment or wrongful termination attorney. This recommendation also extends to his staff who were always courteous, efficient and professional anytime I spoke with them. I had a major issue with a former employer (a large Orlando based company) that had some unique complexities and contacted over a dozen law firms. All of my conversations were very brief and had one of two options- either they would not take on my case until I got a right to sue from the EEOC, or I would have to start paying $300-$400/hour to even talk to an attorney. That was until I called The Montone Law Firm. The first employee I spoke with spent over 30 minutes discussing my case and asking probing questions about the situation to gain a full understanding of the details. At the end of the call, he said he would discuss with Mr. Montone. Several days passed and I received a call from Attorney Montone (Lou). We spoke for close to an hour and he agreed to take my case. He spent the time to truly understand my situation. From the time he agreed to take my case, Lou was always honest and set clear expectations as to all the steps and timing for the case to progress. Lou always had clear communication and gave thoughtful responses to any question I asked during the entire process. In the end, Lou was able to help me get a positive outcome to a difficult situation. louis made the process super simple! being involved in a lawsuit can cause a lot stress and anxiety but his transparency was always accompanied by validation!
