Do not recommend at all! Was hired to Take a case for my child’s father who was wrongfully convicted of a crime that he ended up receiving a life sentence for. Mumford talks a good game but he’s really full of crap. He barely looked into my loved one’s case and didn’t know much about what was going on, instead he constantly spoke about us paying him more money even though he had been paid off. He allowed the victim to get on stand and lie although we had plenty of visual evidence stating that his story changed multiple times and this resulted in a wrongful conviction. At first he wa confident that he could win the case but towards the trial he constantly tried to persuade my loved one into taking a plea deal even though he did not do anything, he even became angry and disrespectful due to the fact that my loved one refused to take a plea deal. Now my child is without a father, a man is in jail for something he didn’t do , and Mumford is left with thousands of dollars that he truthfully does not deserve. It’s a lot that I can say about our experience with Mumford, i hate that I even HAD to leave 1 star.

I was convicted of First Degree Murder & Attempted Murder with absolutely no evidence against me . He had more than a year and a half to learn my case and he showed up unprepared . He demanded more money after he was paid in full on the agreed amount . He allow the victim to come and change his story in trial after the guy told investigators numerous of times he did not see me at all & Mumford did not cross examine the guy about his different story in trial at all . I absolutely do not recommend Gerald Mumford to anyone with a serious charge and plan on going to trial .
