Piatchek Law Firm will be the only law firm i will use from here forth. From the bottom of my heart Thank you Stacy for your warmth and devotion to my case!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I am very happy to know you had such a good experience. Call us anytime, we are lucky to have you as a client.
I called today (February 25,2026) on regards to a question about a promissory note. Grant was the one who helped me and was very speedy with answers that were thorough and easily understandable. If I ever have to hire a lawyer they will be the first I call.
Thanks Justin, we appreciate you taking time to leave us a review. Call us anytime! Joe
We had Stacy Tomlin Harmon represent us on a civil case. She and her staff were knowledgeable, professional, and explained everything very well. Definitely would use Piatchek law firm again.
David and Lori were amazing to work with! I had no idea what I was doing or what to expect in getting divorced. They answered all my questions and were so patient and compassionate. Lori was always prompt to answer calls and emails I sent, and if I didn’t see an email, she was very good about shooting me a reminder text or call that I had missed an email. The fees were beyond reasonable. An excellent team to work with and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know getting divorced with children, I really can’t thank them enough for making this a smooth process for me and my daughter!
Amazing team.
Thank you. Call us anytime!
Thank you!

Grant was amazing. Assisted me with a title problem!
Thanks, Pete. Glad Grant was able to help. Please call again anytime if you need any further legal assistance. Appreciate your time spent letting us know.
Stacy Tomlin Harmon handled my uncontested divorce as my exes attorney. I didn’t get one since I figured one of us having one was enough being as we were in agreement and just needed the paperwork handled correctly. A page of our divorce wasn’t filed with the courts and thus isn’t legally binding. It has to do with him getting my name off the house I already signed the deed to. It’s a very important page to miss and not file. It was brought to attention 6 weeks ago and is yet to be filed. She may be great with her clients, but I’d think twice if you want to be 100% sure everything is done correctly. Edit to Add: you’ll see they replied below denying my claim and accusing me of being a bitter ex but if you check casenet (Ashley Forell) you’ll see the day after my Google review they filed a “nunc pro tunc” requesting to file the page they missed. It’s a process typically used to correct clerical ERRORS like the one they made. The one I mentioned in my original review. I originally wasn’t going to report further because I wasn’t wanting to punish them for a simple mistake (ironically I was thinking “don’t be a bitter ex, they’re humans and humans make mistakes” ) so I chose to leave a review making others aware and intended to leave it at that. I’ll now be reconsidering. Doubling down when it’s so easily searchable and questioning MY ethics? That’s downright wrong. UPDATE: They “harassed” my ex for me to take this down according to him UPDATE: They put in our divorce paperwork we can’t pursue charges legally or civilly for any “torturous” behavior that occurred in our marriage. I believe they meant tortious but I told my ex (their client ) that it’s not exactly a good look for either of us. To make it appear in public record that we tortured each other. I didn’t expect to get so many views on this , but I’m glad because a lot of things that happened were easily avoidable and I think people should know what they’re getting into. I left in November of 2023 and I’m still dealing with this stuff (in a non contested divorce mind you) and in my personal opinion had they done a little better some of this would have been tied up quicker and more efficiently. Everything for me is finally wrapped up on their end so this should be my final update.
Ashley, we represented your spouse in a divorce, and we have not provided you any representation at any time, we were your opposition’s attorney. For the record, please understand that there was no mistake made in any of the documents that had anything to do with your name being on the home or not, as you originally alleged. Please allow me to clarify below.

Our office called you the day you left your original review so that we could discuss this matter, and help you understand what we are stating in this response. You did not answer or return our call, and we have still not heard from you. I remain happy to discuss this with you personally, call me anytime.

It is TRUE we filed a correction, but it is UNTRUE that the correction is related to in any way to the home. The only reason we filed a correction is because the original legal documents had one missing page (page 2), because the scanner simply missed a page when scanning. So we filed the legal document again, this time including the previously missing page 2. The mistake was a simple clerical error, and was easily corrected. If you are alleging that the parties are not abiding by what was agreed to, that is outside our control, we simply draft the agreements.

In twenty years of practicing law, I don't recall receiving a negative google review from the opposition on a divorce case, which is what is going on here. It appears you have filed multiple negative reviews online, originally alleging harm we did not cause, and have changed your reviews, and rationale for leaving a review, multiple times as we have responded multiple times.

The Court corrected the matter and issued an order around a month ago. This is all readily available on case.net and my comments can be easily confirmed by anyone who is inclined to do so. Ashley, you are welcome to call me anytime and I am happy to clarify this further, if needed. Joe 417-882-5858 Ext. #3030
This was the best and most attentive service i have ever had from an attorney's office. This office is wonderful and especially the paralegal i worked with Elizabeth Lewis. She was great at communicating and I was never anxious about waiting for a return call or email. I will certainly recommend the Piatcheck Law Firm and their staff. A special thanks to my attorney Stacy and her paralegal Elizabeth for the special care they showed regarding my case.
Thank you so much Judy, we appreciate the feedback. Thank you for choosing our firm!
When I needed someone to talk to, they always made time to call me and explain my questions. They were there for me at court. I will definitely refer your firm
Thank you so much for leaving the kind review. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know and placing your trust in us.
I can start out by admitting I was not the best client. I came with feelings of resentment without good counsel in my 2013 divorce. I was extremely fortunate to find David and he was extremely empathetic and kind to my dilemma. He told me straight up he felt like I had a very good chance to gain a modification in my support. He did tell me the courts are extremely backed up and he would do everything he could. His paralegal was very thorough and kept me informed every step of the way. 2 years it took but the final outcome was elimination of my support. David did a fantastic job. I would definitely seek Piachek Law Firm, LLC in the future for any legal challenges. Daniel Binder
Daniel, thank you for taking the time to leave such a nice review. You were a fine client, and we appreciate your patience, as these matters do sometimes take a long while. Hope you don't need us anytime soon, but please call us if you do! Thank you.
Went to use this company and asked for a refund prior to consultation. They wanted a premium two hour fee upfront for 75 messages in an email thread which seemed high but ok maybe they’re really good. I have lots of experience with attorneys in my work. We scheduled my consultation for 2 weeks later by phone. Well two weeks later I get a call an hour before my appointment, mind you I’ve confirmed this appointment three times already, text message, phone, and email. I couldn’t answer so Melissa left a voicemail stating that they need to reschedule because I didn’t send an original something or another. They had all the emails the first day I paid and she told me twice that everything was perfect. This also tells me they never even opened or looked at them until the morning of my appointment. Never apologized or tried to keep my business afterwards either.
Luke, thank you for speaking with me last week, as we discussed we mishandled this, we should not have rescheduled you on such short notice, that was not what should have happened here. I am glad that you communicated with me, and we were able have you back in for an appointment this week, I apologize for the inconvenience. Please let me know how your appointment goes or if I can do anything further for you, would like to change your mind about the above review and hope to give you a better experience going forward. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
Called to retain a lawyer and they state their lawyers do NOT want represent when CPS is involved. I’m sick to my stomach that you all do not have the time a day to help a CHILD just because you do not want to deal with CPS.
Angel,

When you called and described your case, you were told that we would not be able to take the case because it was litigation occurring in Barry County, MO, which is approximately 90 minutes away from our office, and is outside of our practice area for litigation. We suggested you find an attorney closer to Barry County and were willing to give some referrals or suggestions.

Instead of simply accepting that we had politely declined our case, you continued to press the issue, and question our business procedures. At that point, you were told that even if Barry County WAS inside our practice area, that several of our family law attorneys prefer to not take cases initiated by or involving Child Protective Services. At this point, you got very rude with our receptionist. You then went and made a negative google review, although you are not a client, have never hired us to do anything, and have never paid us a dime.

There is no such thing as an attorney that takes every case. Attorneys accept cases based on a myriad of considerations, such as whether or not the client is a good fit, what County, conflicts of interests, attorney’s current caseload, the demands and timelines of the potential case, and the attorney’s personal areas of expertise.

To take on your case and take your money, when we don’t think we are a good fit, would be a great disservice to you. Instead of realizing this and letting us help find you a referral, or simply accepting that we politely declined, you were very rude and felt the need to write a negative google review. 99% of callers in your situation would have returned our politeness, or accepted our help in giving a referral to a closer attorney, rather that having this reaction and making a google complaint. I do hope you find the help you need.

Stacy Tomlin Harmon was my lawyer for a 3rd DUI over a decade ago. I had already been to another lawyer. When I set down with her, I expected her to tell me the same thing the other lawyer had told me. But, I was absolutely blown away when she didn’t. She immediately pointed out several things with my case that were crucial to beating it. It was a night and day difference. I left her office with hope. It took some time as cases usually do when your lawyer is doing a thorough job. The results were nothing short of mind blowing. I’m so overwhelmingly grateful and lucky that someone recommended her and I listened. If you need an extremely experienced, talented, attentive, and brilliant lawyer, do EVERYTHING you can to retain Stacy.
Thank you, Dan. Glad you had a good experience and we were able to help. Thanks!
