Never in my life have I had a lawyer that is so responsive, connected, and give me a sense of calm confidence. Arthur Pickett helped me with my case in mid November of this year. I had received a summons to appear for court for Reckless Driving (94/55) in VA. I was very concerned because I did not want my license to be suspended. Reckless driving is taken seriously in VA. After doing research on a couple of different laws firms, I decided to go with The Pickett Law Group. When I called, Arthur answered the phone and I began to tell him the details of my case. He explained to me, what the next steps were should I decide to hire him. I was quoted a fixed price (that did not change), and he told me what classes I needed to take to help my case. All instructions were explained in his email to me. The day before the hearing, he called to follow up and answer any questions I had for him. Let me say, upon reflection, I am soooo happy I hired him as my lawyer. I arrived at court and was immediately comforted by his detailed explanation of what was going on in terms of where we on the judge's docket and what we were waiting for (him to speak to the prosecution). I did complete my courses (very important). He went in and spoke to the prosecution and when he came out, he said we actually got a better deal than he originally anticipated. The Reckless Driving charge was reduced to speeding and my fine was cut in half. This meant, if the judge accepted it, my license would be saved. He also reassured me on what would happen if the judge did not accept the deal and the next steps after that. He was even kind enough to entertain my son as we were waiting to be called. When went before a judge.....I knew I had made the right decision in hiring Mr. Aruthr Pickett. The judge said I "'should be very grateful to Mr. Pickett for this deal because if it were up to [him], he would have suspended my license. They is no reason anyone should be driving 94 mph."" The judge accepted the deal and we walked out of the courtroom. HIRE THIS LAW FIRM!!!!! I cannot express my deepest thanks to the Pickett Law Group and in particular, Arthur Pickett in helping me navigate this case. I was very pleased with the outcome of my case and when you hire them, you will be too.
