That is incorrect. No one was rude or condescending. You contacted us on January 20, we immediately responded. You spoke to our paralegal. You wanted us to defend you in a lawsuit. We gave you a quote that same day to defend you on the civil suit because we have to charge for our work. That's how we put food on the table, pay rent, pay employees, etc. You never hired us. I checked earlier this week, and you filed an Answer and counterclaim on your own. I assumed you had moved on since you did that. Not sure what you mean by unwilling to help 'we the people.' We are one of the few law firms that do civil rights/constitutional claims in the area. We defend citizens and we file lawsuits on behalf of citizens everyday. Take care, best of luck. Well, I'm going to call bullshit on this. First, you got all pissed off when we responded to your post because you want privacy...but if that's the case, why did you post a public review? So, what you said is bullshit. We didn't delay anything. You didn't give us the information we needed to pursue your claim. So we said, 'hey, we are declining to take your case' because we have a ton of clients we need to protect who we already represent, and we can't wait around for you to do what you are supposed to. So if your claim is such a slam dunk, why can't you get an attorney? Could be a personality thing. You may have the greatest case in the world, but if you're not going to help, and then sit there and complain about us rejecting your case because you won't help, I doubt anyone will want to represent you. Maybe they will, but it won't be us. So we posted a professional and less profanity laden response. But you didn't want confidential information out there, despite there being no confidential information, and despite the fact that you posted this review with clearly confidential information. Just because we are a business does not mean we have to sustain bullshit accusations. So best of luck with your slam dunk case. I'll rest easy tonight knowing I dodged a bullet by not having to represent someone like you.

Your characterization of the conversation is inaccurate. You called on someone's behalf, not your own issue. It was at 6 pm on a Friday (and yes a holiday, but even if it was not, it doesn't matter), and I answered, as I do for emergencies for clients and people with immediate legal concerns. You were neither. But I did need certain information to analyze the claim, as I do with all intakes. I stated "I need to control the conversation as there is certain information I need" which includes, time, place, jurisdiction, parties, etc. I was not being rude or attempting to be rude. I did not hang up on you, we both said good bye, and as I recall you had the last word. After i said "i needed to control the conversation" so i could get the info i needed after you were talking over me, you said "don't be be rude (or something to that effect), i'm trying to tell you everything you need to know." I did say, perhaps you should call another attorney, as it appeared you wanted to tell me everything all at once, and based on cursory information, it did not appear to be a viable case based on your description of outcomes with other entities, including the employer and the other entity you discussed. But i type my notes, you were trying to talk over me, I cannot type that fast, and the call lasted 2 mins and 55 seconds. So I said perhaps you should call another attorney. I make no judgment on who you are, if you are under stress, the strength of your claim, or how successful you are in life dealing with clients. I'm not stressed, i'm watching John Adams on HBO, which I paused to answer your call. Take care, and merry Christmas.

I am sorry you are upset, but I disagree with what you said. When you called, you thanked us for giving you resources to help you, even though we could not take your cases. And you are right in some respects, that we do not take on every case. If a case has no chance of success, we cannot take on those cases. And even some that do have a chance of success, we do not take on. Why? Because we have current clients and we are working on their cases, and if we take on too many cases, it can negatively impact our current clients since we have limited time. And whatever the case may be, if we cannot take on a case, we try to help out those people by giving them legal advice, referrals, self help resources, and by explaining the law so they know what is going on. We do the best that we can. Hope everything works out for you. take care.
