I most definitely would recommend Carol Risk, she is very smart and attentive to detail. She has a strong presence in the courtroom and is very dependable.

Paid $1500 cash over 3 years ago and still hasn’t done anything. Won’t return texts or phone calls. Hasn’t scheduled any custody hearings.

I could not recommend Carol enough! She is simply amazing! She is smart, kind and friendly. She absolutely knows what she is doing. She does not set false expectations. She will fight for what is right. She is honest, trustworthy and completely aboveboard, cutting no corners. At the same time, she is very strategic and knows her way around the courtroom. Her experience shows in everything she does. I am very thankful to have found her and would not wish for any other person to be on my side.

Took my money and NEVER did anything with my case, she has never returned numerous calls, emails or messages and has yet to return my money for a job she never did. AVOID AT ALL COST, she is the reason attorneys have a bad reputation.

We paid Carol the $850 retainer when we were going through our adoption process and then she never showed up to court and never answered our calls and she kept the $850. I understand that we signed something that said the fee was non-refundable but I really expected that we would have got something/anything other than that initial meeting out of it. I highly recommend Attorney Lydia Caylor of Cors Bassett - she was able get our adoption finalized AND she did our estate planning.

I cannot recommend Carol enough. After spending $$$ on another attorney to repeatedly lose and fail in my efforts to modify custody to align with my daughter's best interest, I finally found Carol. She is an amazing attorney who completely commands the courtroom. She is sharp and cunning and gets results. My daughter finally has peace and can live the life she deserves with the changes that we were able to implement.

Carol Risk was supposed to file QDRO paperwork SEVEN YEARS AGO so I could start drawing my Pension, but did not which now has my funds tied up. I have tried NUMEROUS TIMES to reach out to her so this could be rectified and get no response. Her Business Voice Mailbox is now full and her personal email goes nowhere. I was able to leave voice mails a few weeks ago, but got no callback.

I wanted so badly to be able to leave a good review,but just can't. I hired Carol because I heard she was tough and I heard she was good. She filed one motion for me and lost the case. She promised me we would file more motions,the kids would get a GAL and we would be able to get them out of the horrible situation they're in. She did NONE of that. She ghosted me and refused to respond to any email or return a call. If she didn't feel she was able to handle the case the professional thing to do is to let your client know. Highly disappointed and I hope no one else has this experience.

Carol is a great attorney! She is very thorough, competitive, punctual, friendly, and caring. I hired carol for my divorce and because of her, I was able to get everything I wanted from my ex-husband. I am very pleased with the outcome of her work. She would be the first attorney I called if I ever needed legal help again. The Risk Firm is amazing and I highly recommend.

I really wish that I could leave a good review. My sister in law had a consultation with her a few months back, and loved her. When my daughters father served me with custody papers, she was my first choice. However, no matter what time of day I called, it was impossible to reach anyone other than her voicemail, and never once did I receive a call back despite leaving messages for over a week. I even tried to reach out via the website and still nothing.

It was different. I felt safe.

I hired them 2 years ago and my case still hasn't been resolved... when i call it's either a voicemail or someone to take message and they still charge me. Ridiculous!
