I have been working with Diego and Karol. Since the beginning of the case, Karol has not been updating me unless I call the office myself. Every time I ask a question, she either isn’t sure of the answer or tells me that I need to schedule a call with Diego. Today, I called her because I received a confirmation email about a meeting for my husband. When I asked questions about why my husband keeps getting postponed, she said it’s likely he will be denied bond and placed into removal proceedings. I asked why it has gotten this far with no updates, especially since we hired your office to help with the case. She then explained that they were only hired for the bond. I asked why we would only hire an immigration attorney for a bond. Karol then said that Diego is working around additional details, but that removal proceedings are likely in the works. I told her that every time I call, she doesn’t seem to know anything about the case, which has been frustrating because for the past two months we have remained at square one. After expressing my frustration,especially after hearing from an office we paid $2,500 that my husband might be denied, Karol told me she could not speak with me when I was “out of control.” I was simply expressing frustration as a normal reaction from someone who is 10 weeks pregnant and has a husband in jail for a crime he did not commit. Karol then hung up the phone on me.
