I am urged to write this review out of a necessity to warn others. Do not waste your time or resources hiring this person. We hired Mr. Spencer several years ago for matters of custody, after going over every piece of information he agreed to provide representation and assured us it was in good hands. In the course of about a year only one thing was ever filed on our behalf. Months would go by with no contact or update until we reached out, and he was always out of the state or out of the country on vacation. I was sent document templates to fill out myself just to never have any of it filed or used. Towards the end of this struggle I voiced my displeasure with services and was reassured that our needs were a priority. About a month later I was abruptly told that he wasn't familiar enough with what we needed done to be of service and refunded the small remainder of the money we paid. We have since hired a new attorney and came to find that the one thing that was actually filed on our behalf was not only incomplete (missing a page) but also not properly registered and should have never been accepted by the clerks office! Ultimately our money paid for nothing and several years later is costing us more time and money to fix! If it were possible to rate ZERO stars we would!

Very horrible, we called the number that is left on the site and he messaged us saying that we would set up a consultation monday morning at 11 but never got that call back and after we called he finally answered at 3 and said what? you guys keep calling me i’m on vacation and then we still continued to talk and he said IM NOT INTERESTED call someone else. But why set up a date and time for consultation if on vacation and then be rude to us after we try to call after not receiving the call back. Very rude guy never had someone be so rude to me in my life. He said we hung up but we were in the middle of talking and it just hung up on us.

David is a fantastic lawyer! He took my case on immediately and drove to Minot from Michigan just to help me move my case forward. He responds quickly and actually cares about his clients needs. 10/10!
