I was referred to Winter Law Group by a couple of family member's that Joel successfully handled a couple cases for in the past..I am so grateful for Joel, he answered my call immediately, put aside what he was doing and patiently took time to hear my issue which gave me hope to proceed with my case as I felt truly felt it was a loss cause which causing me a bit of depression due to the fact where I truly didn't think I had a chanceto be made whole again after being injured in a car accident. He is sincere man and so knowledgeable. I now got the ball rolling and confidence to go fight in court. Thank you so much Mr. Winter.
Happy to help. And happy to provide more guidance if you need.
I called and spoke with joel. He was very professional , kind , and efficient. He provided excellent guidance during our difficult time in need. It is rare to find an attorney who balances deep expertise with such respect for the client's time. I’m very grateful for his help. He is reasonably priced as well. I would highly recommend him .
Always happy to provide some guidance in breaking down complex situations. I wish you the best.
Spoke to Joel on behalf of my dad. He was able to give me excellent advice. He listened to his situation and helped me process next steps…Thank you Joel
I’m always happy to help. Hope things turn out well for your dad…and you!
I called and spoke with Joel regarding my situation. He was kind, understanding, and very helpful. I really appreciated the time he took to give me advice and explain in details how I can handle the situation. Would highly recommend reaching out to him if you need anything!
Glad I could help Adreanna! Hope it all works out for you.
Spoke with Joel, he was super helpful and informative on my situation. Even though I wasn’t going to be using his services, he still took the time to give me guidance and advice to help me with my situation and even said I could call back if I had any questions about the forms etc.!
I am always glad I can help someone navigate the intricacies of the legal system even if it doesn't lead to representation. Good luck to you Ashley!
I never thought I would have to get an attorney or even seek legal advice, and honestly, no one is ever prepared, but Attorney Joel Winter made the process easier. My recent experience with him has brought me here to tell people he was kind and compassionate; he listened, advised, answered my questions, and reiterated to ensure I was on the same page. Lastly, he was honest. His goal was to help me, not benefit himself, which was crystal clear. He went the extra mile, which I am sure others would not. If I could give The Winter Law Group more than five stars so they would stand out more, I would do so because going to an attorney is challenging, and I know that in this day and age, so many people come here for recommendations. I highly recommend Attorney Joel Winter.
Thank you Marcie and Adam. There are so many things in this world that can blindside you and not knowing where to turn can be scary. I am glad I could help you understand your circumstances better so that you can make good decisions. If you ever need my services in the future I will be here.

He gave multiple options and sound advice that reflected what was best for us versus would earn him a larger fee. I recommend him to anyone who may need financial legal advice.

The Winter Law Group was great to work with during my bankruptcy filing. The process was very easy and the team was super helpful. I never felt shamed. They explained the process and requirements needed by me. They were also on top of things when I asked questions.

Mr Winter handled what I thought would be a very difficult case, he answered the phone when I called and replied to emails within the same day, which is unheard of these days. He kept me informed and calm at a scary part of my life, so if you're looking for a great attorney u found him.....

The name provided here for the person who left this “review” is for the sister of someone (a brother) for whom I completed a bankruptcy in October of 2016. He had come to me in February of 2016 and paid me in small amounts on a debit card over eight months a discounted fee of $800. My normal fee at the time was $1100. In November of 2016, this client brought in his sister for a bankruptcy. I offered the same deal. Even the prolonged payment plan. When I sign a client for a flat fee bankruptcy that client from that point is told they may stop making payments on credit cards and such so they can divert those payments to pay me AND when creditors call, my clients are instructed to then give them my name and phone number. Creditors do call me and I confirm they are my clients. Calls to my clients usually stop. So, I begin working for my clients soon after signing.
The client in this case speaks no English, so I always dealt with her brother, the first client. Over the next few years with long gaps in between I accepted payments of $30, $100, $100, $60, $50, $20, $50, $20, $60, $50, $25, $99, and $40 from this brother totaling $704. Remember, I am “working” all this time holding off creditors. The last payment was in May of 2020. Each time he would apologize for taking so long and each time I would say "I understand" and "when my fee is paid in full I will file", even though after a couple of years I felt I had more than earned my contracted fee.
In November of 2021, the brother of my client called and said they had decided not to proceed with the bankruptcy and wanted a full refund. I refused but told him that I would be happy to finalize their bankruptcy with a final payment of the remainder of my fee. My contract includes a clause that allows me to deduct earned fees when a client decides not to go forward with a bankruptcy. The brother of my client declared to me that I haven’t done anything. I see in the client file on my computer a list of creditors, and creditors have called me to verify representation. Isn’t this work? Isn’t keeping a file open for over five years work? I told him this. He called again a month later. He seemed to have "forgotten" our last conversation. His English is not so good so I figured it was that. Two weeks ago another brother called. This brother's English is very good. I explained all this to him. The first brother called right back and said again that I hadn't done anything yet.
I believe I have been more than patient. Perhaps years ago I should have returned some of their money and told them to go elsewhere, but I sincerely try to help people in tough circumstances. I can’t do anything to change this review, but I would still complete this bankruptcy for them.
