Adam and I go way back and when it came time to seek assistance with gaining guardianship for my elderly mother, I reached. At the time Zickerman Law had just employed an associate that specialized in this area and we engaged them to represent us. As it were the associate quit just 6 weeks into our process that left me and my family in a significant pickle with looming deadlines and hearing and no one to represent us. Adam stepped up took over my case even though it was not necessarily his area of expertise and using common sense and good communication we were able to bring the case to a final resolution without having to put my mom through a brutal trail. Adam represented my fiancé in his court battles with two woman who were hell bent on ruining his life and taking everything from not only him but the kids as well. These women thought they had the case in the bag simple because they "birthed" said children. When it came time to go to court Adam instantly set the record straight and made it clear that it was not going down that way. Not only did he go against another local attorney, but he was also faced with a "Highly Over Paid" Scottsdale attorney. I Believe the "Scottdale" attorney has a completely different opinion of our "mountain town" attorney Adam Zickerman now. The rulings came back, we will finally have peace from these two women. This lawyer is a complete joke. Thanks to his total incompetence, my mom lost her case and is now serving time. I’m her legal power of attorney and this man outright refused to speak to me every time I called. Arrogant, dismissive, and clearly doesn’t give a damn. He didn’t even have the decency to tell his own client what charge she was actually going to prison for — she thought it was for something entirely different. Either he lied or he’s so careless he didn’t bother to clarify. Pick one, neither is acceptable. He did nothing to help her. Just another lazy public defender collecting a government paycheck with zero intention of actually defending anyone. No strategy, no communication, no integrity. If you’re looking for someone to represent you or your family, RUN the other way. This man is a disgrace to the profession.
