"I hired Robert Schechter for a case of negligence/homicide after a referral. He demanded an advance payment of $7,500 from me in December 2025. Despite having paid, two months later he informed me that 'there was no case'. The most outrageous thing is that now he pretends to charge me $175 for each call made, when most of the time I only talked to his secretary. I feel that he took advantage of my pain. I have already reported the charge to my card and filed a complaint with the White Plains Bar Committee. I do not recommend this office; my experience was a total lack of ethics and empathy."By reporting it to the Grievance Committee of the Ninth Judicial District in White Plains. They are in charge of investigating professional conduct.

Hi and I wanted to take a moment to thank Tilem and Associates for handling two of my cases for speeding and just a simple out of state license plate covering violation! Of course the latter case was first and then I turned around and asked them for further representation as I’m not often in and out of the state but I happened to be in two different periods of time! Each time they were efficient and highly effective and I was pointed their direction by my in state NC lawyer of whom doesn’t cover state of New York.
