Honesty, just do the jail time unless you have money to spend. Jail isn’t that bad unless you’re naturally a piece of trash. Mr.Sullivan is helpful, he does do payment plans but he is also a bit expensive. There are lawyers charging up to $10,000+ but I don’t understand how they justify that price. $6000 is definitely better but in my opinion it could’ve been done for a bit less. -Slight Summary of my case is below- Payment plan- 2000 Down - 1000 a month until totaling $6000. -Below is a summary in Mr. Sullivan words- “As you may recall, the State initially had notes about a prior DUI in its file, which would have exposed you to a mandatory jail sentence (these notes appear on the complaint from your very first court hearing, which is attached). However, because of an error in the way their file was prepared, I was able to move quickly and negotiate a plea to a first-offense DUI. This resolution avoided jail, minimized penalties, and even allowed you to resolve the case without having to appear in court. When you initially retained me, we had a strategy of carefully reviewing the evidence to determine if there was a lawful basis to stop your vehicle. We were hopeful that if the evidence did not support a stop, we could avoid a conviction altogether. However, after obtaining and reviewing the objective video evidence, it was determined that law enforcement had multiple reasons to stop your vehicle. For this reason, seeking to minimize the damage and secure the lowest possible sanctions was the focus. Thus, I believe that my early "catch" of the State's error in its file was a blessing that avoided more severe penalties.”
