Sought legal representation for a previous MA/RI order. After briefly explaining my situation to Ms. Achilles assistant over the phone, she recommended an in- person consultation. Upon the consult, I was asked to again to explain in writing, a brief summary of the reiteration on a short form giving my reasons once again for the consult. I then paid the assistant 100.00 up front, to sit with Ms. Achille. She said she would give the summary to Ms. Achille to view and she would be out to greet us shortly. I paid 100.00 to find out this office doesn’t represent Massachusetts family probate court as it says on their website. This law firm is dishonest, and was a complete waste of my time and money. Ms. Achille also seemed to be on her lunch break during our consult, sitting with me while snapping into an apple and drinking her water while she was listening to me. Her “helpful” referrals left me to subpar recommendations.

From my perspective divorce has two key components - the emotional side and the financial side. When leaving my marriage of 23 years, I sought joy and an ease in my life that was not often available. I entered the divorce proceeding with an initial objective; healing the overwhelming emotions of loss, while moving forward with grace. And then things got complicated. I discovered my former husband had hidden marital assets from me for decades. His near legendary, deceptive strategies during the divorce proceeding required a 2 year battle. My former husband owns at least 4 businesses, 15 banking/investment accounts and more than 30 parcels of real estate including rental income on most properties. To settle my divorce fairly required an experienced knowledge of commercial banking, real estate finance, and intricate attempts to hide assets. Within 6 weeks and headed toward a trial, my initial counsel withdrew from my divorce case overnight. Tim Conlon dissected the property settlement agreement proposed by the opposing counsel, noting a significant inequity of $998,000 and agreed to take my case immediately. Do not go there, charged me $7500 for a DCYF case which should be very simple, didn't do anything in court and allowed them to convert a hold on my baby to a temporary custody, after a week without answering the phone or emails charged me another $7500 to continue with my case. I end up losing both my children because I wanted to transfer my newborn baby to a different hospital. Do not trust these people!
