I can honestly say this case started off rough. I was arrested during a traffic stop because of a warrant from when I was 16 years old — I’m now 39 — and I had no idea it even existed. My wife and I live in California and were just traveling through Texas when this happened. Because the case was so old, it came with a lot of complications. We had to travel back and forth to Texas multiple times for court, which was expensive and stressful. Court dates were sometimes canceled last minute (not the attorneys’ fault), and we quickly learned to book refundable flights. Through it all, this legal team stood by us. The husband-and-wife attorneys who handled my case were not only knowledgeable, but genuinely kind people. They treated us with respect and never made us feel like just another file. From day one, they pushed to have the case closed due to the age of the case and lack of evidence or witnesses. Their communication was consistent and clear. We always knew what was happening. The office staff and secretaries were also incredible — patient, organized, and extremely helpful when it came to scheduling and coordinating around our travel from out of state. That made a huge difference for us. There were even circumstances outside anyone’s control — including a government shutdown that caused flight cancellations — and they worked with the court to make sure I could appear by Zoom so the case could continue moving forward. In the end, we got the result we were hoping for. The process wasn’t easy, but having a team that genuinely cared, communicated well, and kept fighting for me made all the difference. I’m very grateful for their dedication and professionalism.
